Strong possibility- the IAF certainly has plans for at least another 6 and Boeing is expecting this order to be placed but it depends on if the IAF has this purchase as a priority as there is a long line of purchases the IAF is looking to place in this FY- Apaches, Chinooks, MRTT, more C-130J-30s and the Rafale deal. There is a chance the IAF will act quickly though because by next year the C-17 production line will be closed for good.

C-17s are their replacements. The IL-76s will be gone by 2017-20.

Can't we convert one of the IL-76s into Engine Test Bed & Study the rest of the aircraft which may lead to us learning something such large Aircrafts

Anyone wishing to get a grip on the relative size of the C-5, C-17, and C-130 can use Google Earth or Maps to poke around USAF bases. This shot (hopefully still) has a C-5, C-17 (right above it) and a pair of C-130 up and to the left, as well as (I think) a couple of 707-based aircraft in the frame.

Rats, can't post a link. Look up Hickam AFB, in Hawai'i, USA. There is a big concrete pad on the left (west) end of the runway, look there.

Or Honolulu Airport, they are, I believed linked.

So 10 C-17s are enough? so more will be ordered.

There is an option for 6 more, which wasn't ordered so far, IAF currently operates 17 x IL 76 but we definitely need more numbers of aircrafts, not necessarily more C17s.
