Think before you give so much respect to Indian actors/actresses. They are just playing a part, who they are deep down is not what you can judge from their acting. I remember about 10 years back every other household was glued to this show:

She acted normal and according to the sentiments of her people. Every individual, irrespective of their profession should be patriotic towards their country. Fault lies in our audience who give audience to them. In international community there is a principle of bilateral relationship. For example Pakistan has declared that citizens of those countries which require Pakistani nationals to have a valid visa before entry, are required to have valid visa for them to enter Pakistan. Fair enough. It is the same principle worldwide. It should be similar principle in place for TV channels. Fault within us does not qualify for shunning others.

Above all, in good times these so called celebrities were not considered worth following or idealised. It is a fault within which has raised people from zero to hero when it comes to national or international level.

Women like the drama and Indian TV shows and movies in general are all about the drama and the angst. Probably they can related to the Saas bahu issues and the rituals that are common between both the nations.

Last Indian movie I watched was, Three Idiots, and before that also never watched one for some years. That time too, was stuck in the company of a female family members dying to watch that movie. Don't get me wrong, the movie was good, at one point I even fell off my chair laughing, but I'm damn sure the money earned from that movie will be fed into anti-Pak activities and hence I didn't want to watch it.

Its a shame really, the arts should be appreciated between both the countries. But such incidents and among several others, is showing that rabidly anti-Pakistani nature of the Indian film industry. Why give your money to people who hate you?
