India would become an economic superpower: Rajnath
Lucknow, Aug 28, 2014, PTI:

Exuding confidence in the welfare schemes being launched by the BJP-led NDA government, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today claimed that the country will be an "economic superpower" in the world along with China and the US.
Rajnath said this while launching the ambitious 'Jan Dhan' scheme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi here.

"I think that the manner in which the schemes are being launched by the government, I am confident that India will be in top three economic powers in the world, along with China and US," he said.

"I have full confidence that India would become the economic superpower," he said.

Rajnath, while congratulating Modi, said that the scheme was similar to PM road scheme launched by former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The Union minister said the scheme launched today would instill a sense of recognition among the people and bring smile on their faces.

He said the scheme was not only limited to opening of banks accounts, but also has additional benefits, including accidental insurance.

"With the launch of the scheme, the poor community of the society will feel that it has an identity of its own," he said.

Goldman Sach and other consultancy firms have already told that much before Rajnath. The only question is when? Whether in 2035 or 2045?

They come up with all these schemes just to placate the poor. It will neither give them a foothold to hang on nor it will give them a job.

There is no restriction to be poor for generations ..Poor are those who are not ready to use opportunities which comes in their way ..Govt only can create opportunities which they are trying to do ..Its up to so called poor people to utilise these ..Dont use the word "poor" with that much certainity as if poor themselves have no role in their poverty..

You seem to forget that the majority of poor people in India, no in the developing world have to work like slaves. The Brick Kiln Industry, the Textile Industry, the Mining Industry and almost all Cottage scale industries which employ millions of people have low wages and no interest in the rights of the workers.
What do you mean by "utilising opportunities"?

And why are you stupid enough to go along with the scornful thread by an anti-indian troll. Indians are normally smarter than you.

I am happy to know that normal Indians are smarter than me.

Obama once said he could not imagine all Indians enjoy the same level of social and natural bounties as the Americans do. That will be a disastor.

I am wondering what he meant to say.
