Wow!!! That's extremely commendable and a great achievement. Not only because of her background, but also to win a gold in pure athletics is a rare feat for Indian sportsperson... Loved her expression after winning too... Surely deserves a hefty paycheck from GoI as well as her state govt.

India and Pakistan might want to consider moving away from Anglosaxon sports. You'll notice each Anglosaxon has a sport or sports that they forcibly fund to create a psyop against the public that brings them "together" over it. Instead India could promote it's own native or pagan sports. Excelling at western sports is anti-Islamic.
