India will win both the battles, Covid-19 and the one against China: Amit Shah

Is there any media can challenge him?
Sure, but there are in minority and many-a-times threatened with false cases and other intimidations.[1][2][3]
How about Congress, doing nothing?
Congress is dynastic and the current one lacks in public skills by large though he was the one who came up with that "Surrender Modi" epithet. You can read this twitter thread for some details in power dynamics

Joe Shearer seems slightly alarmed by the fat bastard. I don't blame him but he's nothing to worry.

The Congress mouthpiece National Herald is saying WORSE things about this future coronary bypass patient. Joe babu, your own Calcutta's Telegraph newspaper is sharply critical of both Gujju bastards. Plus, Modi and Amit Shah are abused DAILY on individual Twitter handles in India, sometimes they even become trends.

I have previously abused Amit Shah directly on his Twitter account till his handlers blocked my account. That is the extent of their jurisdiction capability outside India. Much of the abuse I hurled at him was last year when I was in India for two months in summer.

BJP has a full-time IT cell which works extremely well in deleting/blocking any abuses directly at Modi and Amit Shah. That doesn't mean they don't receive them. They deserve worse.

I heard US is cooperating with BJP and Modi on SNS, including twitter, youtube and facebook.

Modi is doing what US needed I guess, otherwise US won't be so obedient. If China ask US SNS to do something, it will be ignored completely.

Thank you. Very helpful. Are you Muslim or Hindu, or secular or liberal or Commie? :D

edit:
I saw your page, you are Muslim. I see.

The Congress has a reputation for being corrupt (undeserved, but mud sticks) and being obsessed with how to be effective in spite of being led by Mr. Ineffective. It won't do anything for us, except give these BJP scoundrels an excuse to say that anti-nationals are being supported.

Can anyone challenge them?

Yes, and nobody will like the answer.

The challengers will be themselves. Meaning, other Hindutva-leaning parties, that differ from them, but offer good governance and an absence of violence. A pretty potent combination.

Any examples?

Yes, the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra (Mumbai). One year ago, they were partners, in bed with the BJP. Today, they are hostile enemies, have knocked the BJP out of the governing seat, and is running the state. The BJP doesn't have the vocabulary to deal with them. It's like a large battle tank, whose commander discovers someone has just fixed a limpet mine to the hull. What do you do about it? You can't do anything about it from inside; you can't come out, you'll get shot; you can't shoot it off, your weapons won't reach it.

None of the liberal parties will succeed, not until the Indian masses grow up.
yes, that's what I observed in many countries in past hundreds of years. The radical can win the mass, the moderate usually lose. Same thing happened in China during 1921-1949. And many similar cases in European countries especially before WW2.

Different story, but the logic is there. If you want to win, stir up the mass, incite the people. Angers, emotions, hatred, exaggeration, race, religions, castes, etc. Divide and rule.

Trump win, Duterte win, Erdogan win, Putin win, Bosonaro win and Modi win.

I am actually a Hindu, but a Communist-Marxist, and even Maoist supporter. But consider me a new generation of Commie. I don't follow Stalin or Che Guevara but a firm believe in Mahatma Gandhi's passive resistance methods. Few people are aware that Mahatma Gandhi was a damned Commie too, except he was religious. Of course, being a secular and liberal is part and parcel with that.

I do admire People's Republic of China's development model, and want that to be emulated in India.

All the Commies of India like me are friendly to Chinese. However I am a Singaporean citizen now.

LOL.

I had mentioned exactly that lot, in alphabetical order, in some posts earlier. I am glad you have the same view.

India will win both the battles, Covid-19 and the one against China: Amit Shah

In an interview to ANI, Home Minister Amit Shah accused opposition of peddling anti-India narrative with regard to China and said Covid situation in Delhi is under control.

New Delhi: Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is going to win both the battles — against Covid-19 and the ongoing tensions with China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh — Union Home Minister Amit Shah said Sunday amid criticism from the Congress.

Mai ek baat spasth kar du, dono jung hum jeetenge, aur janta ko aashvast karna chahta hu Modi ji ke netritva mai dono jung jeetnege (Let me make one thing clear, we will win both the battles. I want to assure the people that under Modiji’s leadership we will win both the battles),” he said in response to a question on the tension in Eastern Ladakh and the Covid situation in the country.

In his interview to ANI, Shah, however, refused to answer specific questions on whether Chinese soldiers are still present in Indian territory. He said it was not an appropriate time to comment on the situation at the LAC but said “briefings were going on and that if the need arose, he would also answer”.

Criticising Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his “surrender Modi” comment, Shah said it was unfortunate that at such a time the opposition party was indulging in “occhi rajneeti (shallow minded politics)”.

He accused the opposition of indulging in anti-India propaganda and said the government was not “scared” of a debate in Parliament. “We are fully capable of handling anti-India propaganda but it does pain when a former president of such a big political party (Rahul Gandhi) does occhi rajniti at a time of problems,” Shah said. “He and the Congress should introspect as his hashtag (surrender Modi) is being taken forward by Pakistan and China. It is not for me. You are saying what China and Pakistan like. At this time of crisis.”

When asked to comment on the Congress accusing the BJP of not being democratic enough, Shah claimed that the Congress has had no president from outside of the Gandhi family after Indira Gandhi, so it should not talk about democracy.

This, however, is factually incorrect as Narasimha Rao and Sitaram Kesri have served as Congress presidents since Indira Gandhi’s second tenure ended in 1984 and Sonia Gandhi took over in 1998.

On his part, Shah cited the examples of himself, besides Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and incumbent J.P. Nadda to drive home his point that the BJP has been “democratic”.

Rahul Gandhi and the Congress have stepped up their attack on the Modi government over its handling of the India-China crisis with Gandhi even saying that Modi has surrendered the country to China.

No need to panic: Shah on Delhi’s Covid situation
On the Delhi front, Shah who has been overseeing the Covid management in the national capital said remarks made by Deputy Chief Minister Manidsh Sisodia that there would be 5.5 lakh Covid-19 cases in Delhi by the end of July had created “panic” among the people. He expressed confidence that such a situation would not occur and ruled out any community transmission in Delhi.

“Around the second week of June, Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sidodia said that by July 31 there will be 5.50 lakh persons infected with the virus. He said that there will be no place left, no beds and the situation will be difficult,” Shah said. “This has created a lot of fear in the minds of the people in Delhi. His estimate was based on figures, I do not want to go into whether the estimate was right or wrong. But a situation of fear arose and some people started mulling an exodus (out of Delhi).”

He assured the people of Delhi that such a situation would not arise and the government has already ramped up testing and is improving the infrastructure every day to combat the coronavirus. “I can now say with confidence that the situation of 5.5 lakh cases will not come on July 31,” he said.

The home minister said a system has been put in place wherein right from the municipal corporations, Centre and the Delhi government are working in tandem. “There is coordination… Arvind Kejriwal is always kept in the loop. Decisions are taken by involving him also,” he said.

Shah also said the Modi government has addressed the issue of migrant labourers “very well”. “I think that the government’s efforts were not projected properly. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and I asked all the state Chief Ministers on day one of the lockdown for the arrangement of stay and meals for the labourers as industries will be closed. Every state had arranged accommodation and food for workers. Around 2.5 crore people were served.” he said.

Shah, however, agreed some “saddening incidents happened.. when people lost control and started travelling on foot”. “We were also pained by it. PM Modi had told all CMs to run buses to ferry migrants traveling on foot to the nearest railway stations,” he said. “Until now, 1.2 crore (one crore and twenty lakh) people have been ferried across the nation.”

this guy had too much KFC...

As I like to say, Amit Shah is full of piss, wind, and hot air. I have seen him face-to-face. Sure he can get people killed but he's a COWARD, and no real man should be afraid of this piss-poor specimen of a human being. If I ever find him without his bodyguards, I would bitch-slap him and kick his a$$ :toast_sign:in front of live cameras. o_O

This fat bloke deserves to be beaten up for the crime of existing, and breathing oxygen.

Interesting, hard to find a Maoist supporter here.
I am Mao admirer. I am interested in history, military, industrialization, CCP and KMT party history, and European history.

I actually like the Chinese Politburo system compared to the Indian democracy. 25 highly qualified meritocrats from all walks of life join it to run the country according to strict rules of zero corruption and equal economic benefits for all citizens.

Sure I'd prefer a Western style liberal democracy anyday but the Chinese system is superior to India's so-called democracy at present.
