India will deploy Rafael fighter Jets with tactical nukes on Pak-China border

Do you Know what Follow on order Is ??are you technically dumb What are Doing in Defence forum then ???

Are you technically dumb? Because your grammar is worse than a 4 year old and you seem to think that talks about a follow up order are the same as saying India has officially bought 18 more. Don't worry, it's going to take you another few years to get those as well. Not to mention those planes don't start to come to India until 2019, and it will take 6 years to get all of them. So God knows when that follow up order will arrive.

18 follow-on are part of contract which will be given at same rate as of 36.its policy we signed same deal with Us in C-130,C-17 and P8i and with Israel Phalcon awacs and other stuff It Part of DTII

first rafale will be in india after 3 years from now "if india stays intact by that time".

Na koi khwaja aur na koi Sharif rahega pak sar zameem mein woh din dekhne ke liye

Rafale wont be equipped with Tactical nukes
Since we dont need them due to our overwhelming conventional superiority over Pak
Rafale however will get air to ground missiles with a range of 250 km, which could carry a 40 KT nuclear warhead

Those 36 Rafale Are enough to Wipe out Your Entire feet of F-16
Is that based on evidence or another case of chest thumping?
As far as I know F-16s gave a hard time to F-15s, Typhoons and even the Raptor.
Mind you it takes a decade for a pilot to get "good" at flying a new bird. By that 5th Gens will be flying over South Asian skies.

India is buying 36 Rafale fighter jets from France.
BEIJING: China apprehends that India will deploy the 36 nuclear-capable Rafale fighter jets to be acquired from France in the border regions of China and Pakistan to enhance its deterrence capability, a media report here said.

India will deploy the new French-made fighters in the disputed areas bordering Pakistan and China, state-run Global Times reported quoting Shenzhen Television.

A recent report by Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) said India is the largest arms importer in the world, the newspaper said.

Increased arms imports into the Asian region are primarily due to the unstable security environment in the Middle East and concerns from China's neighbours over its rise.

The Rafale fighters in flyaway condition carry tactical nuclear warheads, and this means India's nuclear deterrence capability will be greatly improved, Shenzhen Television reported.

"India also wants to purchase the Rafale technology from Dassault but France refused, meaning France has no intention to help India promote its military industrial system," Zhao Gancheng, director of South Asia Studies at the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies said.

While India is rapidly expanding its military capabilities spending an estimated $100 billion on new defence systems, many other countries with an advanced military industry are also competing for India's market, such as Russia, the US and Israel, the daily quoted SIPRI report as saying.

Zhao said before this deal with France, India was also considering the US-made F-16s.

"India picked French-made jet fighters because they are cheaper and have a nuclear deterrence capability," he said.

SIPRI's list of the top 10 arms importers for 2011-2015 has nine Asian or Asia-Pacific countries.

Many of China's neighbours are also on the list of top 10 importers, such as Vietnam, South Korea and India, he said.

"Due to the South China Sea dispute and the increasing power of the Chinese navy, countries like Vietnam and the Philippines are very concerned, but the US is not helping China solve the problem peacefully," said Song Zhongping, a Beijing-based military expert.

"The US government and media are hyping the 'China Threat Theory,' trying to convince countries in Asia that China is on the offensive," he said.

India relies more on its AF for tactical nukes than Pakistan due to less proven delivery systems for that line.

You must be insane to threaten China with a few rafales and poorly designed nuke devices.

Hardly.
You should see exercises like the Red Flags and the joint NATO exercises and see what parameters were set.

36 nuclear-capable Rafale fighter jets

A few questions:
  • What exactly makes a fighter jet nuclear capable (and what prevents that)?
  • An F-16 would NOT be nuclear capable?

The B57 nuclear bomb was a tactical nuclear weapon developed by the United States during the Cold War.
Basic weight was approximately 227 kilograms (500 lbs).
The B57 could be deployed by most U.S. fighter, bomber and Navy antisubmarine warfare and patrol aircraft (S-3 Viking and P-3 Orion), and by some U.S. Navy helicopters including the SH-3 Sea King

The B61 is a variable yield bomb designed for carriage by high-speed aircraft. Basic weight is about 700 lb (320 kg), although the weights of individual weapons may vary, depending on version and fuze/retardation configuration.

The B61 has been deployed by a variety of U.S. military aircraft. Aircraft cleared for its use have included the FB-111A, B-1 Lancer, B-2 Spirit, B-52 Stratofortress; F-101 Voodoo, F-100 D & F Super Sabre, F-104 Starfighter, F/A-18 Hornet, F-111 Aardvark and F-4 Phantom II fighter bombers; A-4 Skyhawk, A-6 Intruder and A-7 Corsair II attack aircraft; the F-15 Eagle, F-15E Strike Eagle and F-16 Falcon; British, German and Italian Panavia Tornado IDS aircraft. USAFE and all NATO dual role aircraft can carry B61s. The Lockheed S-3 Viking was also able to deploy the B61 as a nuclear depth bomb.
The B61 cannot fit inside the F-22 Raptor's weapons bays and will instead be carried by the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II

The B83 thermonuclear weapon is a variable-yield gravity bomb developed by the United States in the late 1970s, entering service in 1983.The bomb weighs approximately 1,100 kilograms (2,400 lb). he following aircraft are (or were in the case of retired aircraft such as the A-6 Intruder) capable of launching an attack using the B83 bomb: B-52
B-1 Lancer, B-2, F-15E, F-16, F/A-18, FB-111, A-6 Intruder, A-7 Corsair II, AV-8B Harrier II

RAFALE-FIGHTER-AIRCRAFT.jpg

BEIJING: Hindustan Times has claimed that India may deploy the newly purchased Rafael Fighter Jets equipped with the tactical nuclear weapons on Pak-China border.

India is likely to deploy the recently bought Rafale fighter aircraft capable of carrying tactical nuclear warheads near disputed regions with Pakistan and China, the Chinese state media predicted on Friday.

It was claimed by Indian newspaper Hindustan Times quoting an article published in nationalistic Global Times tabloid.

India recently signed a deal to buy 36 Rafale fighter jets from France for close to 7.8 billion euros ($8.7 billion). The delivery of the jets, which experts say will allow the air force to strike targets in Pakistan and China from within Indian territory, will begin after three years.

Indian Air Force is grappling with a drawdown of its fighter fleet. The IAF has 33 fighter squadrons, each consisting of 18 fighter planes. It requires 45 combat units to counter a combined threat from China and Pakistan.

The Global Times article added China’s neighbours, including India, are “hyping” the so-called “China threat” and have gone on an arms purchasing spree — a move that has increased the import of western-made weapons into Asia.
That will be great.. china will deploy there upcoming su35 at there air bases near ladakh too
And Pakistan will too bring new jft or upcoming 5gen on loc
Result! Kashmir will be unoccupied by india
