On 27 Feb, A harder punch would've lead to a war on the East giving Americans and Indians a space in Afghanistan. Pakistan has kept its focus on the game where it needed ignoring distracful opportunities and baits. Once USA is out of Afghanistan, you'll not see Pakistan forgiving India in another opportunity. They already owe us their souls for causing 20 years of havoc and carnage. Have faith.

I believe orders were required to shoot down enemy air crafts or inflict a loss comparable to what enemy caused by any means if PAF was lacking in terms of BVR in 1999.
