What's new

India to seal borders with Bangladesh entirely.

All Indian borders should be sealed so no Indian can run away.
Hope these may work as their own rabbit traps
at first they thought we cant observe our eid ul azha without their cows but we r now self sufficient indian cow traders face lots of difficulty during eid many Indian farmers raise their cows targeting our eids.

.
Step 1: Seal border

Step 2: Deport the illegal BD ppl en masse

Step 3: Watch the BD posters cry here when they get reality check (just like they are getting with the BD illegals in Myanmar now) and laugh

Seems they are butthurt about the reality that its India thats building this barrier.....not BD. Thus its obvious who sees the benefit from it and who it will hurt (given one side clearly has no intention to make one of their owns for their fantasy equal equal scenarios).

Even the UN (that BD runs to crying about its illegals being forcibly returned to from myanmar) humiliates them with the reality:

cheap talk, if you see so many benefits why doesnt bangladesh build the wall by itself ? have no money ?
We will not only build a wall but also raise the height of farrakka barrage, that would teach ppl some civic manners that cheap talk doesnt take ppl any where. No wonder BD got such shabby treatment from punjabis.
poor india try to get rid off its 3.2 million poor people:p: build the fence we will through some bread to them, whom u never full fill with proper human needs( sanitation, food) :hitwall:. we have mentality not like u! we can share our breads with poor people though they might rohinga or indian bangles (we r Bangladeshi). and now u can compete with china and pak in just forget to provide ur people with basic needs, u Indians:tdown: r pathetic

Why we should bear the tremendous cost of building 4000+ km fencing when we can get free of it from our shuppa pawa neighbor with 10 times larger economy? Plus, if we wanted to build it,we had to left behind 150 yards of our precious land. Can you imagine how much land we would have lost to the other side of the fences and how many Bangladeshi left unprotected in this long 4000+ km border? But India saved us from this painful job and we are grateful to India for that.

If this had been done in the 1980s, it could have saved Pakistan a lot of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants. Better late than never, I suppose.

We have no compulsion as people in both side of the border and mostly Muslim Bengali. They themselves are the big wall for India.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Hopefully, the smuggling of deadly drugs/alcohol, smuggled weapons and explosives along with so called jihadists suicidal attack
would be significantly reduced. However, if the trend still continues, your guess is good as mine.:toast_sign:

Souls reunite through barbed wires

Families separated by a border come to see their loved ones on Pohela Boishakh
Pohela Boishakh is a special day to all Bangalis across the world. But the significance of the day was much more to the 55-year-old Bijoya Rani who on Friday turned up at the India-Bangladesh border in Panchagarh to meet her two sons, who live in India.

Bijoya, along with her granddaughter Chandana, was meeting her sons after quite a long time – almost two years – as she could not make it there last year from her home in Thakurgaon.

Bijoya’s sons would not have the good fortune to embrace their mother however; they were separated by two layers of massive barbed wire fences, putting them about seven or eight feet apart. Then again, Bijoya and her sons were elated to see each other’s faces.

With the help of bamboo polls, her sons sent across some sarees and fruits they had brought.

Like Bijoya, Sarathi Devi also went to the border and she too touched base with her sons who stay in Shiliguri in West Bengal.

Unable to share a hug and emotional to see her offspring from the other side of the border, Sarathi, 60, of Panchagarh, was heard reminding them that she was getting older and it may be their very last meeting.

The two incidents reflect the happiness and disappointment of tens of thousands Bangladeshi and Indians, especially those living near the border at Amarkhana, who thronged the no-man’s land there on Pohela Boishakh.

As they have been doing so for last 12 years, these people, regardless of their ages, gender, religion and social strata, flocked there to meet and greet their loves ones as part of Bangla New Year celebrations. They also exchange gifts amongst themselves.

Under surveillance of the border security forces of both the countries, the people started crowding up there since 10am from sub-pillar No 1-7 under pillar No 744, covering around 5km along the border.

Amarkhana Union Parishad Chairman Md Nuruzzaman Nuru said: “Never-ending love for their relatives and near ones drives the locals here.”
Commanding Officer Lt Col Hakim Al Nawshad of Panchagarh 18, BGB Battalion said they and the Indian Border Security Force had tightened security along the border on the occasion.

The border has been witnessing such congregations for Bangla speaking people on the day every year.

Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh on March 25 said they would seal borders with Bangladesh and Pakistan entirely by 2018.

All Indian borders should be sealed so no Indian can run away. Indians should be caged inside their borders and we should go visit the border area and buy a ticket to see them
Let me give your silly comment a reality check son.
This fence - in the actual real world 'traps' and 'cages' incoming problems within their own counties -illegal immigrants coming from BD, and on the west terror from PAK. The jokes on you .

:-)
Don't forget to throw in a few warm pakoras to the hungry BSF members since they are weak from months of eating low grade roti and watery daal.

C'mon we can't joke about a factual event? This was all over Indian media a few months ago.....

Time to order some tunnel borer machines or get ToT so we can build them locally.......

Sometimes a fence doesn't stop smuggling, of even cows.

GAU RAKSHA this pal.......
