A far more effective way of spending the budget for now- it can always be expanded in the future. By 2022 the Indian GDP will be around $4 trillion and thus will be in a greater position to expand more aggressively.


The headline should be "India increases the the effectiveness and lethality of its Strike Corps"

India is neither here nor there. Modern NATO armies are low in numbers but they make up with the best military-tech on the planet. NATO Radars, communications, weapons etc. are second to none. China on the other hand makes up its technical inferiority with impressive numbers. For every NATO soldier china can deploy 20.

India is missing out on both quality and quantity.

Even though I live in Ranchi I didn't knew till now that the mountain corps was stationed here. Well we have a Punjab Regiment here in Ramgarh, not sure if the mountain corps will share it's HQ with them in Ramgarh or with CRPF in Ranchi or a totally new one. (A new one in Ranchi is not possible as the fcuking congress and other secular retards here make sure that land is not allowed for any development work.)

20:1 is overstating it MASSIVELY. And can a PLA soldier compete with the professionalism of the NATO armies? Those conscripts are hardly impressive soldiers.

If china can afford why not India ????Where is our future soldier????what happened to our FINSAS program .

F-INSAS has been renamed and is still in the works, the trouble is the majority of the IA's budget goes on paying for its vast numbers and not on equipment- in the IAF and IN it is the total reverse and hence why you see those forces evolving into truly world-class entities whilst the IA continues to exist in the early 20th century (for the most part).

The new MSC's HQ has not actually been created yet, when it is it will be totally independent of any other HQ/installation.

China has 2.1 million men in uniform. Countries like UK have 100,000 and/or less.

And it is against these same conscripts India sits quietly and watches while they take a walk into Ladakh, have their dimsum and Chinese hakka noodles, stay in India for as long as they like and then go back while India does not even lift a finger to ward them off.

China too wont risk a nuclear war with India for few pieces of Disputed land. For the similar reasons, they provided India with Musarraf's phone tapping during 1999 Kargil conflict to avoid major risk of a nuclear conflict thus exposing its so called close ally pakistan.

There will be no war. I don't see Indian soldiers train their guns on the Chinese when the PLA makes their obligatory social visit to Ladakh and parts of Arunachal. In fact India does its best to avoid the Chinese.
