India Special Forces kick off anti-terror exercises in SL ignoring resistance from Tamil Nadu

I'm sure guarding those goat herders and wheat farms requires lots of training.

Sorry about your arse pain.. but nobody really gives a shyt about a half baked idiots vitriol here.. Least of all the Indian govt.. So carry on

Those outfits are rag tagged compared to what LTTE was.. A fully fledged armed out fit that could do conventional war fare, One of the most powerfully funded terrorist networks.. What your forces face in Kashmir and the East are hit and run groups of insurgents.. Nothing compared

You are incorrect. ISI funded and trained and equipped them very very well. Its just that when push comes to shove we destroyed them in cosmic proportions although you guys went ahead of us and did the "G" act :D I couldn't care less though

I know the difference...if u have any source in the army you should ask him.

Mate no need to ask anybody.. It's all out there.. It is a FACT.. SL Special Forces were not ever trained in India but SL commando's and other units were

Dreaming, unfortunately we don't have any wheat farms here.

Make that rice farms & coconut trees then. Need them for that milk rice.

So you agree that Indian opinion gives you nightmares and is the only thing important to you.

Let me tell you something my friend. The outfit you are calling rag-tag has members who have fought in Afghanistan against the soviets and americans...ex ssg guys (pak sf) and mujahideens which can give a solid beating to any sf in their background.

ISI funding and training is nothing compared to what a certain neighbor provided the LTTE, At one point they were the richest terrorist group in the world.. So no you may be in denial but your comparing apples to oranges

SF to SF engagements are secret....if you ever get a chance to meet SL SF..kindly ask him.

I called them rag tag compared to the LTTE.. Something your falsefully trying to claim otherwise

Dude it's not a case of conformation.. This is something i know as fact and with good reason which i need not divulge here.. SL SF never got training from India

You let them control swathes of territory.. But in terms of deadliness Kashmir and North/East Lanka have the same scale of violence.

And please we did not fund the killers of our PM ever wondered why we dint say a word when your armed forces were butchering women and children by the bushel?

You know what. I thik there is a logical way to end this. Merge with India. Then we'll have to look at you and TN as equals, intervene and work out a compromise. Always works in the Indian federation :coffee:

The reason LTTE failed is coz they turned into a conventional army and SL Army defeated them....Do u think LTTE are more superior than Talibs...dont you see on day to day basis whats happening in Afghanistan?

heart burn? quite the opposite.

At least now you see the difference when one country fails to stop a terrorist group from overrunning half its territory and one country smashes multiple terrorist groups within a few years and sends remnants back to the trainers across the border with tails between their legs

And i thought your talking about the Kashmiri separatists here.. When did India start confronting the Taliban ?? No need to shift the goal posts here, If you cant come up with a legit reason
