The US has been ranked on the top, followed by the UK, Canada, Germany and Switzerland, making them the five most desirable countries to work on the list compiled by the Boston Consulting Group, total jobs.com and The Network.

India 18th lol, I would love to visit various areas but work/settle, never ever heard anyone who has even had any thoughts of doing so. Any European country and various South American countries followed by East Asian countries would come before India but it could just be the Indian diaspora basically saying they would work at home again one day.

Ranks 18th among G20. Not in the world. Just above 2 countries of G20.

Even amongst them, European countries score less because people want to work in some neighboring country, within Europe.

I wonder if all the people who post constantly about how awful life in America really is, how terrible her cities are, how much in decline she is...will ever read the OP. Probably not.

I don't deny life in US is good. But best? Not really. I prefer Canada over US, Many of my friends prefer European countries over US. And we aren't alone in our assessment.

Most Indians go to Canada are trying to come to US. Not all, but most.

May be jobs/family.
Personally I myself have many relatives in US and none in Canada, and they want me to come to US. Besides, there are more job opportunity in US than Canada. But I like the socialism!

Sure, everyone has their own criteria. I was just pointing out that this board, like most message boards, is a place for people to vent allot of silly biases that don't hold up to the reality of massive numbers of people in the real world, "voting with their feet".
