We have have moved on to more high technology items which is why we are still the worlds second leading manufacturing country with again, only a country with one billion, one hundred million + more people, making more, but of course, not per capita. That my big screen TV might be made by Indians instead of Chinese will not only NOT make a difference to my countrymen...they won't even notice the difference.

That's what you are not getting as I posted before; even if what you say is true about India's economy, India will not be competing with America. India will be competing to take China's place with us just as China took Japan's. We Americans won't really even notice the difference, just as with which of you makes our big screen TV's. America is in a different economic rung, just as South Korea is fast ascending to, Japan has, and other wealthy countries like Germany, Sweden, etc. are in.
