I don't know whether this is prudent. Yes local industries need to be protected, and yes India should be very care full that there is no Chinese cyber attack. But India should welcome genuine investments that create jobs even it is from China. Lets us keep trade and politics different.

I think we need to create an ecosystem for local products to develop. They cant develop their first product cheaper than China. But with 5 years of continous orders the products will become cheap.

China for long have protected its industries from competition, have nurtured it, and now they with money are flushing out all over the world. India needs to protects its industry now, or else we would have no industries to begin with.

It's a good move to avoid Chinese from power and telecom sector. It isn't a retaliation measure rather a security measure. Chinese like to play with pressure points.

We need to demand more space for our cinema in China during Trade Negotiations.

Too bad we do not have a Trade body for the Film industry that can lobby for this with the Govt.
