Same can be said for any state. in my city 70% people are non gujaratis and gujarati language is slowly dissipating from our lands (since we are 5% of total indian population)

My origin is from what is now modern day Srinagar i cant speak Koshor thats no biggy when people migrate their culture slowly fades away and the local culture influences them more i cant speak Koshor but i can speak fluent pothwari and can easily understand pahari and hindko

He himself claimed and identified as gujarati, his family is gujarati and he was only fluent in english and gujarati.

He was an ethnic Gujrati but at the same time he was born and raised in Sindh that also makes him technically Sindhi

I think sindhi speaking and sindhi are two different terms i mean marwari speakers of that are Sindhi but they are not Sindhi speakers same case for Baloch tribes and Seraiki tribes
