CONFLICT: Indian Army Chief General Bikram Singh (C) salutes in front of the coffins of Indian soldiers during a wreath laying ceremony at the technical airport in Jammu in this August 7, 2013 handout photo from the Indian Ministry of Defence.

India for the first time directly accused the Pakistan army of involvement in an ambush in which five Indian soldiers were killed, and said the incident would hurt warming relations with its neighbor and hinted at possible military retaliation.

"Our restraint should not be taken for granted, nor should the capacity of our armed forces and resolve of the government to uphold the sanctity of the Line of Control ever be doubted," Defense Minister A.K. Antony told parliament on Thursday, referring to the de facto border dividing the disputed Himalayan territory of Kashmir.

"It is now clear that specialist troops of Pakistan army were involved in this attack," he said.

Pakistan has denied any involvement in Tuesday's attack, possibly the worst such incident since the two nuclear-armed rivals signed a ceasefire in 2003.

Last time the Indians felt adventurous, they were clipped around the ear and shown the exit.
Given the Indian habit of creating mischief, Pakistan may not be so generous this time. !!

The event
At 11:30 am PST [Pakistan Standard Time], 3 Indian Mirage 2000-H fighter jets crossed the line of control, intruding in airspace over Pakistani side of the disputed valley of Kashmir, up until approximately three to four miles before they were intercepted by 2 F16s and 2 Mirage III fighter jets of Pakistan air force.
The second intrusion was recorded at around 12:20 pm PST, when 2 Indian SU-30 MKIs crossed the international border near an eastern city of Pakistan; Lahore. During this instance, they were able to penetrate around 2 miles inside the Pakistani airspace before getting intercepted by 3 F-16s and 3 F7 fighter jets of Pakistan air force.

Nice story bro...but ofcourse...this stupid post of yours have been dis assembled atleast dozen times here ... IAF cannot attack without the approval from the govt. and in 26/11 NO such approval was given..... This was a message by the IAF to the Pak and Indian govt. that they are very much willing to carry out the attack..

That area is a bloody grusome inhumane battlefield...if anyone is sane and rational enough they are not going to glorify the killings ...

Yea, had a couple of them gone down with their tail on fire, the message would have been loud and clear, but then talking nonsense is your forte.

What counter, the Indian aircraft, BTW, fully armed, intruded into Pakistan airspace after some aggressive posturing by Delhi, Pakistan had every reason and right to neutralise them. !!

should i repeat what i said ? without the authorization from the civilian govt. the military cannot carry out any air strikes .. its really simple to understand ... There was no such authorization...this is no Pakistan where the military can do what ever it wants without giving a damn what the civilian govt. thinks ...

Windy and his MKI in locks :omghaha:

Again windy if ever MKI go on offensive sortie they do it in pack of 5/6 NOT 1/2.
Just make sure if time arises your glorious F-16s and heaven ACEs took them down. Till then why bother posting crap again and again.

BTW hope you know the similar locking incident during Kargil. But you will ignore that right ;)

The crap is in your post mate, the MKI is not exactly the Rapptor of the East that Indians often gloat, it doesn't even have any battle records to show for it'self, whatever package they may fly in, the two fully armed busted weren't exactly on a goodwill visit. As for Kargil, aircraft flying within their own airspace and painting the adversary is no biggie, a flight of Fulcrums also gave a good tone to a couple of F-16s.
