The real glory of India was British rule. It was far superior to Mughal and prior Delhi Sultanates. It was even superior to present day independent India. And of course British rule was far superior to ancient and classical India.

British rule was better than Muslim rule . But hindu ancient india was best .

British rule was not better then Muslim rule. The Muslims settled and used the wealth on the soil and build pillars that lasts until this day and left a legacy behind. It became their country hence why they lasted longer main while for the British it was a one night stand. they did everything wrong in the book and they couldn't sustain the land nor keep it but just stealing money and gold from it was the only purpose while starving it's population.

The Muslims build citiies for the populations and provided security, work, and livelihood hence why they lasted for so long and they were not there to hoard it's riches and take it elsewhere.

Some Indians are deluding themselves today as if they are economically better off then Pakistan but I have been to both countries and seen the road buildings and houses. India's overpopulation increases the poverty line in a massive way something that likely would never change
