It's can't be taken as a personal view since a lot of MLA's and MP's from BJP/NDA had propagated similar thoughts time and again. It's the mindset of the people who make the war cry "pehle kasai phir isai" which is an attack on the very fundamental fabric of our constitution.

And this is the mindset that is the reason for peace loving liberal Indian's to view such discriminatory legislation's to be viewed with suspicion, and rightly so.

Well sir what you see is also democracy. The government utilized their majoritarianism and loopholes in the constitution to bring in controversial bill(s). And look it is actually the students who are at the forefront of the civil disobedience which again is the greatest virtue of a democracy. So dissent would be shown even if it is a single person until the voice is heard.

I'm not routing for such comments. I can bring similar comments from other MLAs and MPs against Hindus. It's pointless argument and way off the topic. What I am talking is the legality of what BJP government did.

I don't have a bias for BJP never voted for them and if they are doing some fuked up shit, I would speak up. But the basic idea of this protest is simply hatred against one community. NRC is not sponsored by BJP, it was tasked by Supreme Court to weed out illegal migrants, BJP government can't control the fate of NRC as it is overseen by the court.

And no Indian Muslim will be affected by NRC. If it is implemented throughout India. Unlike Pakistan, we have a very efficient census which happens every 10 years for the past 70 years. It was only partially disrupted in 1971, in bordering states of Bangladesh due to influx of Pakistanis (Todays Bangladeshis).

Now a simple question ?? For example, we all know Triple talak is illegal (now) and above all immoral. Why a civil issue/dispute like that attract a criminal punishment like Jail term ?? Why doesn't instant divorce happening in other religion doesn't come under the same criminal premise ?? Why doesn't Hindu, Sikh, Christian etc. women who may be divorced or abandoned instantly doesn't have the right for similar justice.

And finally, do you still think this government brought that bill in the better interest of Muslim women ??

There is no reason for this protest. Apart from the hatred. There are no laws violated, even you couldn't prove any laws are violated or it is against constitution. BJP is playing it smart, within the boundaries of constitution. What I don't understand is people clutching at straws. You're protesting granting citizenship to few non Muslim refugees who have been here as a result of prosecution. Don't try to hide it under a Rohingya, they have 14 countries that'd grant them asylum. Nobody even recognize non Muslims from these three countries as refugees.

The answer is just plain and simple. It may be within the four boundaries of the constitution, it might have got the majority in Parliament as well. But it is morally not correct as far as Indian constitution is concerned. We haven't distinguished between people/refugees/immigrants on the basis of religion. Either it should be for all (as per some date bar) or for none. If that we the case it would have upheld the secular values that we have been cherishing all throughout the 70 years of our independence.

But that is not the case here. Above all, how and who will determine that all those refugees and illegal immigrants (except the Muslims) are actually the persecuted group ??

What if some had crossed over for better life/monitory gains. Just like few Indian's trying to enter U.S or Europe illegally. Does that mean they were all persecuted back here in India ?? Now who is going to determine that ??

As I have said 3T is totally immoral. But that can be punished with hefty fine or something else without jail term ?? But why only Muslim men who do this illegal/immoral act attract a jail term while people like our PM who had abandoned his legally wedded wife to live on her on walk scot-free without out any criminal indictment, that too irrespective of religion ?? This bill and all past actions and words including NCR speaks out loud and clear. WE CANNOT TOLERATE MUSLIMS IN INDIA.

And "when injustice becomes law resistance becomes a duty". Period.

It's just a beginning, if BJP/NDA push too hard, no one can stop a large scale religious riots between fringe groups in every community which has the potential to even ignite a civil war. And it's not a threat I'm making rather a warning for the worst case scenario.
