you have serious English comprehension problem....

I feel pity for Pakistani people , It's hard to find a day without bombing in Pakistan ,

Ex-PM son get abducted in daylight

But Mentality is same still Thinking about only Outsiders and their Schizophrenic fear/enmity.

Last time India came calling, it had many many advantages, an army fighting a thousand miles away without the benefit of an air cover or reinforcements, a single unit of obsolete F-86s facing ten Indian squadrons, many equipped with the MiG-21s and above all the Indians had full support of Muktis and deserters.....under somewhat similar circumstances, recall what's now termed as India's Vietnam......that when the IA wasn't even fighting a regular army in Sri Lanka.

Living in UK, you must be familiar with the term....The BIGGER they are, the harder they fall. !!

Again, There was Kashmir & Punjab insurgency all through '80s & India was pretty sure that ISI has a hand in it.

So do you even know what happened to your army under somewhat similar circumstances faced by the PA in 1971. :cuckoo:

India's Vietnam.
When the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF)
tried to disarm all the various military groups
as a prelude to peace, it soon got dragged
into a battle with the LTTE. The Indian Army
found out to its cost – around 1200 lives during
1987-1990 – just how vicious the war was. In
one battle, the heads of Indian soldiers were
severed and stuck on poles along the road to
Jaffna. While the Indian Air Force may have
flown around 70,000 sorties mainly with Mi-8
Hips, Mi-25 Hinds and An 32 Clines during
the 32 month period, with no losses, it is
generally agreed that Operation Pawana was
ill-conceived and that the Indian Army was
ill-prepared for such a conflict and it became
India’s own ‘Vietnam’. Once the Indians left,
the SLAF realised it would have to play a
bigger role in the fight against the LTTE, in
providing Close Air Support to the Army

Comparing IPKF operation with Pakistan's performance in 1971 is pure stupidity. One is COIN operations in foreign territory while the other is conventional war to defend one's own territory.

Ontopic:

Nukes do prevent a situation like 1971 war but cannot prevent Kargil war or at the most 1965 like situation.

To address current Pakistani threat, India must attempt to mimc latest Chinese doctrine :"capable of fighting and winning short-duration, high-intensity conflicts along its periphery against high-tech adversaries"

Which i think sometime in current decade the current cold start (if not a myth) may evolve into.

You want to say its similar to PA situation with 71??

The IPKF suffered around 1,200 killed in action and several thousand wounded. The LTTE casualties are not known reliably but it is assumed that approximately 8000-11000 were killed and several thousand were injured.

Where is the proof of your bravery?? Apart from surrender..

Fact is you lost all the way but can not accept it... well no problem independent BD is present as our reward.

Windjammer

stories about admitted a ill prepared Support of Sri Lanka means nothing on the indo pak context.

India Pakistan all out border war will not be VEITNAM TYPE of conflict.

It will involve Navy & Air force and stand off weapons. LOTS OF RESOURCES and lots money

ULTIMATELY DRESS THIS UP ANYWAY YOU WANT india HAS far more resources AND THEY WILL HURT YOU if push came to shove. Far more than you can hurt india.

ITS CALLED ECONOMIC EDGE = MILITARY EDGE = this is fact since dawn of time.

you may win a battle EVEN two battles ...................BUT INDIA WILL WIN THE WAR everytime

but there is some limit and when it crosses it, retaliation becomes a necessary evil.

...
I thought u were but can u tell abt cold nuclear tests we conducted b/w 83 to 94?

...

The first “cold test” of a weapon (i.e. a test of the implosion using inert natural uranium instead of highly enriched uranium) took place on March 11, 1983 under the leadership of Dr. Ishfaq Ahmed of the PAEC. This test was conducted in tunnels bored in the Kirana Hills near Sargodha, home of the Pakistan Air Force's main air base and the Central Ammunition Depot (CAD).The Kirana Hills test tunnels were reportedly bored by the SDW after the Chagai nuclear test sites, i.e. sometime between 1979 and 1983. As in Chagai, the tunnels had been sealed after construction to await tests. As Prior to the cold tests, an advance team opened and cleaned the tunnels.
