India Developing, but still a long way to go

@Vedicity

Your comparison posts are not totally unwanted (you are right that India has a long way to go so we need some benchmarks). Just keep it to one post and a few pictures next time ok? No need to over-repeat stuff.

Glimpses from the Urban Mobility India Conference and Expo 2015
25 Nov 2015 ⋅ by TMRG ⋅ in Mumbai, Nagpur, Other
The 8th edition of the annual Urban Mobility India Conference and Expo organized by the Ministry of Urban Development started yesterday at the Manekshaw Center in Delhi! This 4 day event is mandated by the National Urban Transport Policy of 2006 with an objective to bring India’s urban transport engineers, officials, professionals, experts and leaders (the entire gamut, you get it!) together to share project experiences and views on critical issues with one another. The list of events include various technical sessions, panel as well as round table discussions – see entire outline of the event. A list of speakers which include DMRC’s Mangu Singh & BMRCL’s Pradeep Kharola among others can be viewed here.

The list of attendees who set up stalls include the Delhi Metro Rail Corp, Ahmedabad’s Metro Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (MEGA), Nagpur Metro Rail Corp, Jaipur Metro Rail Corp and Mumbai Metro Rail Corp. Here’s layout of the exhibition:
