China recently celebrated their new year ... God forbid if war brakes out even the chard remains of India would have a Chinese flag.

We all are being driven by people who have never heard or even read properly what war feels like. Hence they can not even imagine what would it be if one starts in the near future.

Look though a birds eye view and then sum up is this URI or are there are other factors. IMO there are many other factors that increase the chances of trying to force a war on both Pakistan and India. China starting to develop Azad Kashmir and the recent uprising in various parts of India are forcing the Indian Government to find a way these do not come to haunt them.

China investing billions would definitely enter in case war brakes out, this would put pressure on Indian military to fight a two or possibly three front attack. Some thing that India currently can not afford. Relying on support from USA could also be elusive because USA would never directly get involved with China however military equipment can be delivered. How good would this equipment be in hands of untrained military personnel? What India is trying to archive is Pakistan accepts J&K as Indian territory and India would accept Azad Kashmir but domestic pressure is so great that they can not do it without a full scale war. For India this war must be short but fast however Pakistan would like this to be a long one so that She is able to muster all the support she can get and perhaps China also would like a long war so that they are able to increase the R&D on various technologies that are still quite basic as compared to USA.

China itself will never jump into war , but it will send weapons and replenishments for Pakistan army.

What weapons can China give will depend upon the turn of events as the war progresses, if it even begins.

Panter can be with strike formations.

SH-1 and SP guns will be used with strike formation, towed / panter guns are expected to be used by defence formation, AJK is good place to deploy them they will show them that PA is now ahead in this field for now.

130mm has long range in all the older guns fielded by PA. it's in large numbers compared to panter.

Panter numbers are still less.

The PAF went to their version of Defense Condition Readiness (as known as DEFCON-2 in the US, meaning war is imminent but CONVENTIONAL in Pakistani use of this term), about over two hours ago. There have been serious large scale SU-30, M2k and Jaguar movements in numbers, very close to the borders on two different places. The strike corps have mid-long range artillery deployed and being tested with a few rounds on the Indian side (and obviously, on the Pakistani side you'd have a similar scenario too).

Things are getting heated up. I hope the cooler heads prevail and a war can be avoided to save humans from suffer!!

And because they are the easiest to transport to those areas. We have been using 130mm along LOC and northern areas and army is really satisfied with the performance.

I actually like India, I have Indian employees and they are good people. I don't like what the BJP is doing inside India and I think India has a much bigger role to play in this region as a "big brother". If I was an Indian PM, I'd have signed a no war pact with the Pakistanis, put in condition to protect India and Pakistan both from terrorism, make Kashmir a demilitarized zone where people to people contact can be made, and would have a free trade agreement with Pakistan with guarantee that the trade won't interfere with their country's integrity (terrorism in Baluchistan, etc).

At the end of the day, I would have opened borders over long term for people to people trade, joined CPEC and allow both the nations to create an Indo-Pak economic block having 1.5 billion consumers speaking the same language and sharing similar cultures. The war and terrorism threat would end once and for all. This is what India needs to be a big brother and really be the regional power it wants to be. But can I put this much sense into BJP's crazy religious heads? Not really!!

SH-1 is the only suitable SP gun option for thise areas for now. The heavier M109s are not very suitable. Hence the interest in more/other wheeled SPHs

155mm, 45/52 cal artillery under development trials. It should be moved to LOC for trials.

I think if I am not mistaken, the 06 core, part of one of the strike IBG has these as test platforms in real situations. It is being used.
