India denies medical visa to Pakistani woman seeking cancer treatment

. . . .
A reality check for Pakistanis and especially the corrupt government of Pakistan, who are nothing but a bunch of impotent men. They can't even provide basic health services to their people. What a shame!

.
GOI slashed price of some cancer drugs by 86%, so basically quality treatment is cheap here. Such discount shouldn't apply on her and we should make more money out of her.

.
It seems the procedure is not followed..she needs to first get a recommendation letter from Pak MOFA and just submit it to Indian embassy ..thats it..she will immediately get the medical visa.
It is matter of goodwill. We allow medical tourist from Pakistan even though we can easily deny you permission.

There has been no visa granted for the last two months, and the reason cited for this rejection is because of "deteriorating relations between the countries"

.
After proper background checks have been made the visa should be issued if the hospital says it has capacity and resource.

A cancer patient cannot influence foreign policy.

This makes me sad

Why not? Indians don't spare their own. Why would they care about a Pakistani cancer patient? Cows and Modi rule in India.

Build your own hospitals, treat your own citizens. If you don't have have enough talent and capital, go to china or Dubai.

SKMCH, Lahore has a lot of cancer patients in waiting, but there are other facilities too.

Over 1600 Afghan cancer patients treated in Shaukat Khanum: Admin

“Since its inauguration in December 1994, over 1600 cancer patients from Afghanistan have been treated with an estimated cost of 1.5 billion rupees in the hospital. Soon Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center would be inaugurated in Peshawar. Philanthropists and well-off people from Afghanistan must support SKMCH&RC,” says Dr. Sultan

I must add for free....the only hospital in the world where 75% of the patients are treated free. Yearly expenditure is 500 crore...all donated by Pakistanis.

.
As sad as this is, it's not India's problem to give medical treatment to everyone who wants to come.

That is not a decent reply dude .
Only if one faces such a drastic condition then only he/she can understand .

I think she didnt folliw proper procedure .
She has to earn a document of their foreign minister.
She should also check the record the hospital in India .We have world class facilities and doctors but there is no scarcity in fake establishments .
GoI should help her on humanitarian ground
