Indians have trade deficit with China because they can't tussle with China, they will lose.

Instead they tussle with powerless small countries like Bangladesh.

Bangladesh has $50 Billion worth trade deficit every year with India (95% in India's favor).

This pattern has been going on since 1971.

They manipulate our cabinet ministers and strong arm our politicians to make sure their low quality cheap sub-par products get imported to Bangladesh.

Foodstuffs, FMCG products, industrial inputs, engg. goods, cheap commercial vehicles, motorcycles, everything.

Plus Bangladeshis avail of their services via medical tourism because land route is easy to use.

Indians cannot sell their cheap stuff to anyone else, their economy is in large portion dependent on Bangladesh consumption.

Bangladesh is like their only market among neighbors. Third or fourth largest export destination globally.

For this level of sustenance, their show of gratitude is to bad-mouth us constantly.

Calling us "beggar" etc. which is hilarious, as they officially are poorer than us GDP per capita-wise.
