The SLS is a big joke. ESA has not faith in it at all. old SSME (space shuttle main engines) and old boosters. NASA is virtually dead. There is a reason why Europe does the Jupiter mission alone.

NASA's accomplishments is still remain one step ahead than any other rival agencies projects.
Now they are in stand by mode stage .They are developing revolutionary tech .Latest one was their breakthrough in laser propulsion.

NASA did not land on the moon. Wernher von Braun did. The entire Apollo program was virtually a german program.

Maybe it is American strategy. Before sending an American to Mars, send an Indian first.

Again all those projects gave benefits to Americans .Americans only .
Resources was from US , crews were from US , all those technologies and its possible spinoff and upgradation also was in the hands of US .Or I would say the entire project benefitted NASA and US .
