Problem is, since Suzuki took over the majority in Maruti, its Japanese management has been trying hard to change the way it operates in India…they are trying to bring in discipline, dedication and commitment which they get easily in Japan….one has to agree that no one change compare with Japanese when it comes to their discipline and dedication at work, especially when it comes to technical work…..but looking at the Indian system, it would be inappropriate to enforce Japanese way of working in India…our factory people are comparatively less educated, less paid and they are organized unlike service Industry…..
First thing, I condemn any kind of violence and culprits must be punished appropriately.. but on the other hand, Japanese management should be cautious when it comes to dealing with organized sectors…
