India Assam: Will four million people really be deported?

Say that to scores of illegal transboundary business. The region is poorly managed by both sides. The barbed wires are good for us. It'll be hard for BDeshi's to corss over to here. And given the rampant corruption in BD, it'll be very easy to get an ID if you can spend some money. So, save me the lecture of your efficient ID system.
This is the situation of the barbed fence.
It was the time when BGB choose to ignore such crossing. Now BGB is not letting any cow smuggler to go to India and bringing cow.So cow smuggling has now drastically reduced.Read this-

We even do not need the BGB, our villagers are enough to prevent any illegal trespasser to cross over Bangladesh.During 1990s,India tried to push in some Bengali muslims through the Bangladesh border. But those attempt were foiled by the vigilante villagers and BDR then. This time vigilantism will be 100 times greater.
haha who cares how they live there. We don't want them coming up in our national population register nor in our elections.
So you are willing to backstab the 20 lakh Bhujpuri living in assam? Aren't they citizen of India? You are wililing to throw out 20 lakhs Bhujpuri so than you can simultaneously throw out several lakh Bengali muslims as well? I think Bhujpuri people should take notice on how other Indians despise them.Time for Independent Bhujpur lead by Kheshari Lal Yadav.

Was BD not created for Bengali Muslims,is it not fare to ask them to go to BD if they cannot prove they where here before BD was created

Bangladesh was created only for the citizen who lived within Bangladesh. We are not an ideological nation nor we claim to be the protector of all Bengali muslims around the world. We will only take those people irrespective of whether they are bengali muslim or not if only they can prove that they left the country after 1971.You are not willing to consider anyone citizen if they fails to provide adequate documents, we are also unwilling to recognize anyone citizen unless they produce enough document to prove that they lived in Bangladesh after 1971 and then left.Whether he is Bengali muslim or not does not matter. We will not take anyone just Because BJP suspect them to be Bangladeshi. We need evidence.Very simple.

With same criteria a significant number of Ahom's would not be able to prove they are Indian, why they have been exempted to show documents? Same will happen to most part of India. Even now how many Indian has birth certificate or marriage certificate etc.? So here we are talking about these documents dated back to 1950s from one of the poorest region of India. In addition to that due to flood a significant number of people remain in vessel condition and lost their document.

If Bangladesh start allowing Assamese Bengali muslim entire Assam will migrate to Bangladesh. Then more request will be made for other Bengali muslims. This is not going to be entertained.

You are right, you can certainly ask them to leave. That does not mean they will be allowed to come to BD. Is it not fare to ask anybody knocking at our border to produce valid document which proves they are BD citizen as well?

That sounds nice, but Bengali muslims were at the forefront in the partition of India based on religion.so it's only natural they accept their Muslim brothers who can't prove they were here from 71,we are not asking them to prove from 47.
BD was created in the name of all Bengali muslims.hence BD should take all the Bengali Muslims who can't prove their stay in India from 71

Yes may be many cannot prove they are Indian ,but we are only talking about Bengali Muslims who had a country created on their name and we all know many migrated from BD to India to escape the massacre before and during the fight for independent from pakistan

Yeah, because it has become difficult to smuggle cows as easy as before. Partly because of vigilantism. Not because BGB became efficient overnight. Also, the corrupt officers in this side were transferred or suspended. New young officers were posted.

We are not going to throw them out anytime soon, most of them are working-class population. So, they will have to live under the tag of illegal migrant. Without the possibility of citizenship.
The government will not have to spend anything on welfare programs nor give them land for living. They will live in government-owned unused lands with makeshift tents. They will also be a source of cheap labor, one we don't need to pay much but make them do virtually anything.

Don't put words in my mouth. The government will sort out whoever is legal and illegal.

They have an identity, that's Bengali muslim

In India as well there are millions of Bengali muslim. From 1947-1971 we allowed continual migration of Bengali muslim to former East migration as evident at national census of Assam from 1951 to 1971. When it became Bangladesh it became full stop. Bangladesh was created for Bengali people those who were getting oppressed by West Pakistanis. It is no longer obliged to take people just because they are muslim. Bangladesh has just shown this generosity to the Rohingya muslim and we have got 1.3 million Rohingya muslim and kept on increasing. More worse will happen if we allow it for Bengali muslim.

Indian government knows it as well they are Indian so they never raised the issue officially with Bangladesh.

Looks like Bangladeshis know more than Indians.:D Don't make stuff up out of thin air. I don't care if they are married to the president. You need to go through the legal procedure to get Indian citizenship. Why they come to India and marry Indians in the first place? And they never thought if found they and their kids will suffer too?

They were in India, born in India and married to Indian citizen and it is normal. At that society specially the extreme poor and vassal people could not produce doc which is natural as they never thought of obtaining birth certificate, marriage certificate or even went to school. Still only around 50% of Indian woman are literate. What was the condition in 1950s? Specially in Assam. You need to consider facts before uttering nonsense. Even if all these woman and children who were left out of the NRC, I am quite sure will be given Indian citizenship at the end because the entire NRC process is flawed and same rule was not applied to Ahom people as well. As a spouse of Indian citizen and having kids on humanitarian ground their citizenship will be restored. Don't become too excited with what Modi and bjp has said.

Dude, anyone that marries an Indian can become an Indian.:D

So by your logic we should ask the BD Hindus to go back to West Bengal shouldn't we?

Lol! For that, you require to submit your passport, Residential Permit, marriage certificate. These people are living even without proper EC identity or a ration card.
For citizenship you need to submit an affidavit stating that you took an oath. Usually taken when you are given citizenship.

In short, if you claim, my father was Indian, you need to take your mom to BD, get her passport, neutralise her citizenship come to India and claim Indian citizenship after 7 years.
