India - a threat to SAARC and Asian peace

Well India is currently suckling at America's bosom ...

And there is truth to Pakistan aligning with China to counter India.

LOOk buddy INdia is not countries like sri lanka, bangladesh or even pak to ALIGN WITH COUNTRIES like Russia or U.S....

WE DON"T NEED TO LIVE UNDER THE PROTECTION of others... WE ARE too big for SUCH relationships.... Our relationships are JUST BUSINESS... nothing else

Interms of Size , population, influence, WE ARE JUST TOO BIG... JUST BECAUSE WE HAVE GOOD RELATION with the WEST DOESN't WE ARE their DAMN ALLy

Countries of South Asia must understand one thing.

If they wish to live and progress peacefully, they will have to have a friendly attitude towards India.

...err...in fact...even servile attitude will do.

This is OUR region and WE will decide what happens here.

oh man, Don't act like a kid!

I don't mind gloating about my country but why to portray others as if they are just pawns.....

SAARC is useless!!!!

Regarding Sri Lanka…….

Sri Lanka currently busy with its National Development plan for 2011-2020

Sri Lanka’s look east policy working very well, (China, Japan, South Korea & ASEAN Block)

India is a sabotager of SAARC, blocking China joining and intimidating small neighbors, and make one promising regional association techniquely disabled.

India's building up military along south Tibet is really a threat to world peace, saw the thread, the most dangerous borders in the world? India certainly earn this reputation. let's add the Indo-China conflict to it.

Here's some evidence to support the claim that India is a threat to SAARC and peace in Asia:

India has consistently relied heavily on its bilateral alliances with big powers to supplement and enhance its own strength as a means of asserting its status as a regional super power.

Its interesting all these so called analysts from all these small client states say this about India, where as Indian policy has been independent, peevishly so. And like we need ''bilateral alliance'' to show sri lanka ''our strength''! Seriously, where do they find these specimens!

Propaganda tactic - blame others of what you are guilty of.

As to SAARC's failure, well all these countries with newfound love for China are too dumb to realise we all lose out when they play Chinese games here. Pakistan is the perfect client state for China, blocking trade over politics. They are happy India is hurt, even though they hurt even more. What does china lose? Nothing, just gains more hardware sale with Pakistan.

We are surrounded by suicide bombers.

Not really.

From the SL experience it is true.

As India armed, trained and funded one of the deadliest terrorist groups in the world.

I think you are the first srilankan here who thinks more about Kashmir than northern srilanka.
Yes, we were wrong in supporting terrorism, it is a historical fact. We have sacrificed for it too.
It is better to think ahead than think back. And please try to sort out tamil problem. It can cause another headache.

India's support for terrorist groups in the region must be taken into account when deciding on a permanent seat at the security council.

Rajiv Gandhi?
