I have heard there was inconsistencies with that data from 2001. And I believe it was piece of wood that was carbon dated. There are videos of dives under there on the web before I was even born, and last major look into this place is back in the early 2000s, by that author you cite from 2001.

Not even in India, let alone the scientific community abroad is looking into this, for a reason.

Only people that bring this up are -

1.) Indians on the web that cant even tell stylistic differences between historically established Indian empires/eras, and gullible to believe everything on the internet.
2.) Pseudo Historic programs like that Alien show

Please, that thing was, 'discovered', before I was even born. Nothing conclusive has come of it since then, at all. These scientist and archaeologist are a lot more learned about these matters than any of us, if both the ones in India and abroad have largely ignored this '11,000' year old piece of civilization, trust me, there's a reason for it. Only ones covering this is history channel's, "Alien shows", that's telling you a lot in itself.

We don't have to claim it you see. IVC/SSC has been our way of life since last thousands of years. Btw these evidences show that IVC/SSC might have been influenced by the civilisation that existed in 9000BCE.
