India - 1.4 billion people

In less then 4 years India will overtake China as the most populous country and cross the 1.4 billion mark. Will the shear numbers in Gangadesh pose a threat to Pakistan? Discuss.

That India will overtake China as the world’s most populous country is not in question. But the date has just moved closer. The UN now reckons India will surpass China in 2022 rather than in 2028, as it thought two years ago. The new estimates put China’s fertility rate a bit lower, at 1.6 children per woman. India’s higher fertility rate (2.5 children per woman) and younger population mean it will swell faster, reaching 1.4 billion in 2022, when China’s population will peak. China’s working-age population is already shrinking as the country greys. India will eventually follow. By 2050 about 500m Chinese will be over 60, and 330m Indians.

We asked them to come along, it's not our fault that most of them thought it would be easier to rip you apart from the inside.

Don't worry. They are more loyal to India than the people who moved to new country. Yet after 70 years we are united but you guys broke up.

Well its a big challenge faced by both countries. No point scoring here. And the most alarming thing is the population boom is mostly with the poorest of moor communities which cant give proper education and health care to their children while the educated middle class who can afford to raise their children in good manner have max 2 to 3 child per couple. Meanwhile lower section of society still have 5 6 children per household still to date.
And i am sure its the same case with India as well

The more Indians there are the better you can be assured that lawlessness, toiletless, and raping will continue on in the world

India's fertility rate is not 2.5....it's almost 2.1 now.

@Nilgiri right?
The NHP mentions that as per the SRS Statistical Report of 2016 by the Registrar General of India, the TFR in 12 India states has fallen below two children per woman. These include Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.

Also as per the SRS Report of 2016, the TFR in 9 states has reached replacement levels of 2.1 and above. These include Assam, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Rajasthan.

Delhi, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal have the lowest fertility as per the report. However, the two big states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are still to reach replacement levels. The TFR for Bihar in 2016 was 3.3, while for Uttar Pradesh, it was 3.1.

The TFR for India as a whole was 2.3 whereas in rural areas it was 2.5. In urban areas, it was even lower at 1.8.

You can do ur calcs now

Yes but we are like 1,200,000,000 people behind you. That is lot of catching up to do. At present we are talking about nearly one Pakistani for 7 Indians. Or nearly 1:7 ratio.

You need to consider density vs occupied density as a standard measure.

India is going to a overpopulated hell hole

If hinduta continues to create divisions
India may actually implode

.
Even the large Pakistani cities tend to be less dense and are spread out compared to India.

In 2016, the population density of Pakistan was around 251 people per square kilometer of land area,

Population Density India 413.15 person/km2. Year. -5 -1 2018

...and this is when GB region Pakistan and AJK is not included/measured in the land mass of Pakistan, that is about 88,000 sq.km of area, bigger than Austria, and this landmass is measured as Indian landmass so their actual population density is higher than mentioned above and Pakistan density is lower.

India has almost twice as much population density as Pakistan

Crazy place

True. You can bet Gangadeshi's will be using all of IOK, AJK, GB in their calculations. And any density map of South Asia makes it abundantly clear that most of Gangadesh does not have enough space to even take a piss in private thus explaining the open pooping habits of that country. Only on the bordering regions of Pakistan does Indian density drop. Whereas Pakistan has huge areas of low density regions. If you look at Karachi the largest city in Pakistan it is spread out over the vast desert and has miles of emptiness beyond the city limits. Not So Indian cities like Mumbai, Kolkatta etc.

We may have only increased our population in the recent decades but the Hindoo's have been pumping em babies like they are cheaper by the dozen for centuries. The Hindoo's have simply outbred others and are on the way to become No 1 populated country in the world.

Bravo India.

And it looks like historically the Bangladeshi have also been successul in the breeding olympics. So in that sense they conjoined with their Ganga cousins.

Gangetic plains were always densely populated. India got them.

Cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru etc are densely populated because they have see a heavy influx of migrants from Ganga belt.

Hindus aren't a homogeneous group. Western and Southern India has fertility rate lower than developed nations.

It's Muslim who are outbreeding others in India.

Simple the gangetic plains could historically sustain more people than the drier indus region due to more fertile land. Even in india uttar pradesh bihar, etc have more population than states such as rajasthan, gujarat, and Haryana, sinply because they could historically contain more. and you are correct that pakistani cities are more spread out because indian cities are usually geographically constrained. Mumbai for example, is an island.
