Defence Minister Khawaja Asif says increase in India's defence budget reflects New Delhi's war hysteria.

Talking to newsmen in Sialkot, he strongly condemned the Indian shelling on villages adjoining to Working Boundary and termed it naked aggression.

The Defence Minister said India is constantly violating Line of Control and the Working Boundary by resorting to unprovoked firing.

The Defence Minister said our armed forces are fully capable to respond to any aggression and the nation stands by the armed forces to defend the motherland.

Khawaja Asif said Pakistan is a peace-loving country and is making efforts for peace in the region but unfortunately India is trying to create unrest which is not acceptable.

He said that Pakistan will not tolerate any challenge to its sovereignty and it will utilize all options to protect itself.

India had no other option but to increase the def budget...as we don't get monetary aid and leftover weapons.

And don't be afraid as its US not India which violates your soverighnity.

That's a stupid statement.. Because it's obvious. However, the statement should be regarding our own defense budget which should be increased because it is very necessary now.
