India - not that it matters to India, but diplomatic support to India is a smart thing to do. India surrounds us from all sides and it's in our best interest to maintain a strong, brotherly relation with them.

Some of these countries are good at playing realpolitik and it may not be in their best interest to support Pakistan, despite the religion factor.

If Pakistan plans to support them and had openly stated that then they will do it too.
Sometime relations are strong enough to defeat all other factors like Pakistan relation with KSA,indonesia,China,Azerbaijan,kuwait and bahrain.

Pakistan is not BangLa-Desh it can defend against any aggression even alone..Who will support or not will depend on future engagements with the said countries..Nothing is permanent between countries..I don't see any war in near future since it will lead to catastrophe for both countries and region as well..

They will all mostly likely call for peace, support nobody during actual fighting (or very limited token support at best) and focus on dealing with the aftermath rather than committing to any side. Such a war will be quite terrible for the entire region....even world depending on how it escalates and how much of the escalation manifests into physical results.

Yes, valid points.. but everyone has their own agenda and will try to take advantage of the situation. Syria war has been quite terrible for the whole region but the countries involved (neighbors and global powers) did not "focus on dealing with the aftermath rather than committing to any side" -- there are clearly defined sides and everyone is motivated by potential material gain (oil/gas pipeline, etc.) resulting from their side's victory.

Similarly in the event of an Indo-Pak war (God forbid), not everyone will be rooting for peace. For instance, Afghanistan is always looking for an opportunity to extend itself beyond the Durrand line - you think they'll let a good opportunity pass?

For sure India has massive edge.
But I'm curious who those countries will support (regardless of the outcome of war).

They are just compatible. Nothing more than that. We know about their capabilities.
Massive edge in what. it's 1:2 in every field. About navy we don't need large navy for small coast. Imagine a country 6 times smaller than india but with military almost on par.
Secondly india have to defend chinese border as well. China even if don't attck will bring it's forces on the border for putting pressure on them. We definitely have an edge given more resources to defend small area while india have less resources as copare to the threats on it's borders
