- Israeli naval forces shot and killed a Palestinian fisherman who was fishing west of Gaza city, in unclear circumstances. On another 30 occasions, Israeli forces opened fire at Palestinian boats sailing near the Israeli-imposed 6 nautical mile fishing limit, including one incident resulting in the injury to two fishermen and in damage to their boat, and another in the detention of six fishermen.
- Israeli forces injured 43 Palestinians in various clashes across the West Bank, including 15 during search and arrest operations, six in demonstrations against the closure of village entrances and settlement construction, and six others at checkpoints. The clashes involved the Israeli forces' shooting of rubber-coated, and in some cases live bullets, teargas canisters and sound bombs, along with cases of physical assault, against Palestinians mainly engaged in stone throwing.
- A Palestinian man ran over people near an Israeli border police base in East Jerusalem, injuring four Israeli policewomen and an Israeli civilian. The man was subsequently shot and severely wounded by an Israeli policeman and Israeli security guard at the site. In another three incidents, Palestinians threw stones and a Molotov cocktail at Israeli vehicles in the Bethlehem and Jerusalem governorates, resulting in two injuries and damage to the vehicles.
- Israeli forces conducted 80 search and arrest operations and arrested 120 Palestinians in the West Bank, with the Jerusalem governorate accounting for the highest portion of operations (20) and arrests (57).
- Six Israeli settler attacks resulting in Palestinian injuries or property damage were recorded, including the physical assault and injury of a 15-year-old-girl and a 64-year-old man in Hebron and East Jerusalem respectively, the uprooting of 74 olive trees in Burin (Nablus), and arson attacks on vehicles in Al Mughayyir (Ramallah).
- Two Palestinians were injured by explosive remnants of war (ERW) in Gaza, including a farmer northwest of Rafah city and a man in his house in Nuseirat Refugee Camp. Since the ceasefire of August 2014, 11 Palestinians, including a child, were killed in ERW incidents, and another 42, including 16 children, were injured.
- Israeli authorities demolished 21 structures in Area C for lack of building permits. These include 17 animal-related structures in Al Jiftlik abu al ‘Ajaj (Jericho), and a house under construction along with a water cistern and a latrine in Al Jarushiya village (Tulkarem). A donor-funded agricultural project in Qaryut village (Nablus) was served with a stop-work order.
- The Egyptian authorities opened the Rafah crossing in both directions for one day (9 March), allowing 361 Palestinians, mainly patients and students, to leave and 956 people to cross into Gaza. The crossing has been continuously closed since 24 October 2014, following an attack in Sinai, except for 12 days on which it was opened, but with restrictions.
