Are you debating religion or the loyalty of Tibetan and Uighur soldiers conscripted to the Chinese army during the 1962 war. Get your head out of your a$$ and leave religion out of your discussions
There would have been no question of thtem fighting against India. The Uyghurs in the Tarim Basin did not even support the Soviet backed Uyghur separatists in Ili led by Ehmetjan Qasim in the Ili rebellion. The Tibetans in Kham and Amdo (Qinghai) were willing to fight for China against the Dalai Lama's Tibetans in the 1930s and 1940s. So fighting against India is a no brainer.
