Yup I lived in Britain for 5 years , Pakistani Students or Pakistani immigrants working in Britain don't even tell others they are from Pakistan they either say India or Bangladesh. Bangladeshis have many retail stores in East London. Probably that's one of the reason.
Here is an example of how cheap Bangladeshis are- Indians and Pakistanis immigrant will fix your boiler for 100 pounds lowest.
Bangladeshis will do it for 50 Pounds. Its the same like South Indians in Dubai lol

Its because Bangladeshis have lower standards, the only life they know is in the gutter so they demand less.

Hi Pakistanis who own houses never say they are Pakistanis, In England they say we are British or here in Canada they say they are Canadian. They will support Pakistan but will never say they are Pakistanis as now they have Citizen status. Same with other Nationalities .

They would call themselves Canadian Pakistanis. Because like india etc ... You can have dual nationalities .. Any expat who has Pak origin are naturally eligible for a Pak nationality.

I.E: Amir Khan a british Pak .. His younger brother also represented Pak in some international games.. amir khan himself described himself as a British Pakistani...

Makes me laugh that people buy into this rubbish. In the UK there is a disparity between the North (Manchester, Bradford/Leeds) and the South (London), the South, where London has the Higher salaries, properties and opportunities as it is the capital.
Secondly, if you look at the census from 2011, it shows Bangladeshis being concentrated in Inner London Boroughs and they are still living mainly dependent upon the state for housing and benefits far greater than their Pakistani counterparts.

The standard of living of Bangladeshis is far lower than that of Pakistanis and this report fails to highlight the numbers of Pakistanis who go onto Higher Education.
Overall, Pakistanis have more businesses, there are a far greater number of pakistani millionaires, and more British pakistanis are employed than their bengali counterparts

The 2 communities coexist peacefully in the UK, but it seems like this report and people on here like to stir the spoon

Not really that surprising, the Mirpuris are still a quite backwards-thinking community and still perform atrociously in school in certain areas and still mainly get married to their cousins from abroad, whereas Sylhetis strike me as more progressive by comparison. Also, Bengalis have the advantage that the vast majority of them live in London.

I have visited England and seen that British Pakistanis are still backward after living three generations in UK. Canadian-Pakistan and American-Pakistanis also are surprised at low achievement levels of British-Pakistanis.

I've got some far off relatives who say that same thing or say 'Hamareii liye Pakistan ne kiya ka hai?' ! I've run into trouble with my elders a couple of times for telling them to get their foreign nationalities cancelled because you traveled there on a Pakistani passport, give back every ounce of the highly subsidized education you got in Pakistan when you were becoming Doctors and pay-up to the Pakistan for letting you live and thrive on our soil since the day you and your Granddaddies ran from Indian Occupied Kashmir with nothing but clothes on your skin in '48 !

How are we backward? Please explain. Quit all this BS of us being like this and that.

You so called experts see 10 pakistanis when you're in the UK and paint us all with the same brush.

Just because we're not coconuts doesn't make us backward. We have reached the highest echelons of society, work, community work etc

So what if the Banglasdeshi brothers are doing better than us, or us better than them. We coexist without any issues and have a lot in common. All this stats don't mean sh1t, they can easily be cherry picked. The pic provided in the article is of a vehicle hired for a prom or wedding and i bet you the owners of the ferrari are pakistanis.

Compare Bangladeshis in the South with Pakistanis in the South.

Compare Banglaseshies in the North with Pakistanis in the North.

You will get your answer and i can guarnatee you the title will be different.

We are not competing with any other ethnicity, religion etc we will progress at our own pace.
