The Electronic jamming ,Airdefence and BM capabilities of Russia are immense. Russia would dominate NATO in a matter of days in Eastern Europe and Turkey ,but should it extend its ground forces to Germany ,its overstretched and NATO will be effective in pushing back.

It's all about capability and infrastructure. Not about money. Saudi Arabia has a comparable military budget with Russia. It depends on where it happens. If NATO invades Russia, then it would be a hard fight. Russians would volunteer to service in mass and they would fight for every square inch of their land.

They have proved it in WW-2.

Russia may have a budget that is smaller than Saudi Arabia's,but the Saudi Army doesn't stand a chance against the Russia's.

Conventionnally,Russia stands no chance against NATO,but the threat Russia poses for Nato is their nuclear weapons.
