What's new

in 2002 the US signed the Hague Invasion Act into law,

.
OMG! you and the tweeter just found out? bill was signed into law by President George W. Bush on August 2, 2002.

it authorizes the President of the United States to use "all means necessary and appropriate to bring about the release of any U.S. or allied personnel being detained or imprisoned by, on behalf of, or at the request of the International Criminal Court".

This authorization led to the act being colloquially nicknamed "The Hague Invasion Act", as the act allows the President to order U.S. military action, such as an invasion of The Hague

And we will protect all our service members. Always.

Dude probably confused between ICC and Interpol.......Interpol is an international organisation with functioning jurisdiction and check and balanced. ICC is a corrupted court system that offer none of the check and balances normal jurisprudence cover...

Nah. He is not confused. He is just malicious. And a liar.

Let no one have any doubts about USA's resolve to protect its service members, according to its own standards of duty and accountability, and not according to any international treaty that we have not ratified.
