There is no "whole media" who is supporting or going against Imran. There are many pro PPP Channels and Pro PMLN Channels who like to portray visuals the way they like going against each other as well as against PTI. Media in general may have soft corner for Imran Khan for the person he is but people in general also have the same feeling for him. This softness which you find in Media is not out of proportion. BUT as far your point of media manoeuvring is concerned, its doesn't exist to the levels at which it existed in USA to support wars.
Another example to learn is Channels being aired from Karachi which are all pro-MQM, yet MQM failed to gain more than 2% of vote which they always do. You cannot package $hit and sell it like chocolate.. your product has to be worthwhile for the campaign to work.
