Imran Khan likely to visit Bangladesh in May

. .
As long as Hasina is there, we should simply forget and ignore BD altogether. Besides BD also opposed SAARC being held in Pakistan at the behest of India. We should simply be returning the favor.
When would you learn. Yes we have to ignore Afghanistan and bnagldesh while silently also engaging them quietly and taking the benefit of their markets by exporting. You must not loose them entirely. There is no zero sum game.
Learn to be friends with everyone.

In some cases it is. You cannot clap with one hand. There will be no market access no nothing with BD as long as they witch is there. Learn to call spade a spade.

None of us wins except India if that’s to be done

There is no misunderstanding..... but just hate shown by one side!
Hate doesn’t grow out of nothing

This is a new Pakistan with a new vision. PM IK will certainly attend and some high ranking from GHQ will also accompany him. Since the DNA of BD armed forces is inherently PMA, the relationships between the two armed forces will overcome temporary hiccups.
The relation between the two armed forces isn’t affected by political games.

BD-PAK armed forces relation is closer than many onliners think. Hasina used to say many things in the past keeping certain domestic audience in mind and that necessacity no longer exists. Rawalpindi is fully aware of this fact. It is also to note that, her late father Mujibur Rehman was killed by pro Indo-Soviet elements while he was on course to repair relationships with Pakistan. In fact, he was killed less than a year after he and Bhutto both had exchanged cordial visits in both brotherly lands.
It is not the political leadership but the armed foces in both BD and PK who have the final say in the respective foreign policies.

Yeah well they should have to Islamabad then!. We are not the one who is acting on someone else's commands.
Neither also Bangladesh moves at someone's command. We are only taking a neutral position in conflicts between Pakistan and India although the population would take a side in favor of Pakistan.

Anyway, IK is most welcome to Dhaka. He has stopped coming to Dhaka after he left Cricket.

The BD military is a shadow behind almost all moves by the Hasina Govt. At least that's what I hear on the grape vine.

Hasina policy towards India is based on cold facts. India is all around BD. India used to cause trouble on all development works in BD since the days Mujib joined OIC in 1974.

And that 1974 OIC meeting was held in Pakistan. President Anwar Saadat of Egypt came to Dhaka to take Mujib there. It was also a ploy to deceive Indian politicians. However, the visit was not taken kindly by India and Indira.

BD has to move very carefully before our economy is on a strong foundation. A good economy is a recipe for a strong military. A weak BD just cannot afford irritating India, Pakistanis should understand this small thing.

Current Awami regime is illegal, anti Muslims and not elected by the people of Bd. Hasina is a cold blooded Muslims killer and India Lover.

Imran khan is very popular among the Bd Muslims. He will hurt the sentiments of his well wishers if he visit Bd while Hasina is lurking around.

India is not in the group. So, do you guys think India is a developed country already? By looking at the list I do not think any country will object to IK's coming to Dhaka.

Most welcome Mr. Prime Minister of Pakistan!! Please ask Dhaka for arranging a public speech in a Maidan. We somehow understand Urdu.

It is a group of 8 Muslim states or Muslim majority states. Nigeria is standout as they keep their census 50%-50% between Muslims and Christians. Thus, India does not fit into this group.

I do not see any country in the group possibly raising any objection to Pakistan's participation except for the host nation itself. BD and Pakistan need to define their relationship based on mutual interests and public sentiments rather than toxic nationalism. Pakistan needs to come out of denial of 1971 and BD (rather Awami League) needs to stop creating fake news on the subject (the truth is sufficient and bitter enough). People to people contacts are necessary to alleviate misunderstandings. Two countries need to have ease of visa access with each other.
