Imran Khan burned his electricity bill on live tv!

Fortunately or unfortunately (for PTI), the SC has no burgers appointed as its judges who would pay heed to the bull crap uttered by Idiot Khan.
But taking suo moto action on alcohol bottles and shalwars hanging on sc building is worth noticing? Are all Pakistani courts subservient to Noora? He was about to be hanged for his crimes as PM by military court back in 2000 but Saudi terrorists intervened legal ruling against him by escorting him to Jeddah (special relationship of wealth and money to avoid justice). LOL.

So your captaan will convert Pakistan into naya pakistan like Norway? How ? Did KPK got developed like norway under his competent leadership that now he is going to bring this transformation in others provinces of Pakistan
Norway took only few decades to build working social welfare institutions funded by taxpayer money alone. And it was long before oil and gas was discovered here which happened in the 60's:

The industrial development of Norway, spurred by the harnessing of water power, contributed to the rise of the Labor (socialist) party, which has predominated in Norwegian politics since 1927. In the 1930s much social welfare legislation was passed, including public health and housing measures, pensions, aid to the disabled, and unemployment insurance.

Nooras are in power for the 6th time in Punjab, and 3rd time in Federal government without achieving anything but misery for the collective nation of Pakistan. While their personal wealth has increased since Zia's friendship to more than 100 fold worldwide. LOL.

Now compare it with these facts: Not a single politician in Norway's history has used his political power for his own personal wealth or benefit. Its against the law of conflict of interest. During German Nazi occupation of Norway, one ultra-nationalist named Quisling collaborated with the enemy Nazis and served as acted PM while the real elected government and King was in exile. He was sentenced to death after the war for treason. Other traitors faced life sentences but no death penalty because its a very humane nation. His name remains in infamy to this date as symbol of treachery. Ironically enough, he too was only collaborating with Germans to save as many Norwegian lives as possible. Unlike Nazi massacres and genocides in Eastern Europe amounting in millions, very few people were killed here in Norway despite the 5 year long military occupation:

Harsh truth is imran khan is good only in talking big and making fake promises and giving us unrealistics hopes of better future. He is just taking the advantage of emotions and feelings of those naive Pakistani who are desperate for change and Ik is desperate for power by using this slogan of dramatic change . stupid people believe in his rhetoric
You are just so full of lies and deceit. What has Noora delivered from his own personal intellect as a politician? He made nukes, motorways, jungla bus, metro? No, he just BORROWED money from abroad with high interest and charged huge commissions for whatever building projects he delivered. His authoritarian way of non-governance forced him out of power twice, yet he didn't learned anything from the past and committed Model Town, Islamabad massacre.

While IK has built world standard cancer hospital than runs on donations alone by collecting money himself. Second branch of hospital is opening in Peshawar next year. IK campaigned for and made Bradford University of UK open its branch in rural areas of Naml where 90 percent of students are on scholarship. You seriously believe a man capable of accomplishing so much before entering to power would achieve nothing after getting real people's power?

An Oxford-educated numbskull and his "enlightened" zombie supporters going berserk while burning an electricity bill, which, by the way, was paid anyway.
Paid? When did he pay it?

Education changes mindsets? I am beginning to doubt this adage.
IS Noora educated beyond FA in third division?

Doesn't matter. Fact of the matter is that he followed his call of civil disobedience publicly. If all his supporters follow suit, WAPDA cannot cut all connections in Pakistan.

I will bet that most people will stay pay their bills.

How do you know? Bani Gala has plenty of backup generator power.

Only those that have means to pay will pay, in other words rich elite with millions of RS of income a year.

Most lower and middle classes will pay as well for they would not like to be cutoff completely.

Everyone watch recent reports that all of this was a plan hatched in London?

So, what is the rate, per kwh? I could only find the Rs12-15/kwh. That would mean $260 was a lot of electricity. If you use a lot, you'll have to pay a lot. I'm hearing a lot of complaining about bills, but what is the rate that is being charged per kwh?

I don't have the answers to as to why the electricity bills are so high except I am certain that they are too high in Pakistan. Some other members here can tell better how they can rack up to Rs. 26,000/month ($260/month or approx. $700+/month in PPP terms). I can give only anecdotal accounts, such as one of my cousins in Karachi: Poor guy, his wife, and son live in a small apartment, don't have any AC to cool, there are power outages (the 'load sheddings') a lot of time and yet he pays around Rs. 5000/month in summer. Way too much.

PS. I get your point about using more and paying more. For my American home, while I can afford to keep around 72 F in summer/winter it would cost me approx. $250/month. Wastage. Instead I choose 79/67 F respectively which comes to about $140/month. But people in Pakistan are far more restrictive and restricted in their usage and comfort level.

Whether you like him or not - You have to admit Imran Khan is truly a patriotic brave politician. You may disagree with his methods, ideology etc but you can't deny his patriotism and love for his people.Dr TUQ on the other hand seems like a opportunistic guy who should be given much attention.

I have no doubt about his honesty and patriotism. It is his lack of political acumen and knowledge which we tend to disagree on

Listen mate, I used to support Nawaz sharif he too made so many false promises apart from building a few motorways, corruption is very rampant in Pakistan, no accountability, no justice for common person, power outages is pathetic to say the least, further more Nawaz has been in power three times as a premier where PTI has been in power in KPK for less than two years, so to compare PTI's performance with Noora is unfair. It doesn't mean I support everything what PTI does but I do support a change in the system in Pakistan, the current system in Pakistan will make it a failed state.
