Imran Khan announces Compromise Solution to resolve this rigging issue.

It can be assisted but not headed, which Imran Khan wants. Best is to wait and see if SC offers a solution, using experts from IB/MI. It cannot be done on a whim of a single person, just because he wants to.

From my understanding, IK doesnt want that. His words were: "Let there be a commission under the SC which investigates into the riggings and includes in it the members of ISI and MI as well. Furthermore, let us choose with mutual agreement that who will head this commission."

No where does he say that ISI and MI members must be sitting in the Judicial Commission along with the judges. Neither does he say that members of the ISI and MI must be heading such an Investigation Commission.

.
Sir, are the military agencies part of the military or not, in your view?

you want to take me down the path which will serve your purpose. Your argument is that since ISI and MI belong to the military and since military is not allowed to take part into politics, hence proven this is illegal. And this logic circumvents the question of assisting the JC in the Judicial Investigation by simply restricting everything to politics.

I have simple legal question: Just show me the distinction between the civilian and the military agencies in the matter of assisting the JC in the Judicial Investigation.

Okay, why don't we wait and see what the Judicial Commission does in regards to this issue?

There is no JC as yet. And now that the demand for the resignation is no more, govt is simply back tracking from what they themselves agreed to during the talks.

Once the political maneuvering is done on both sides, the terms of the formation of the Judicial Commission will tell us what is in its purview and what is not, and how will it go about it.

LOL......PAT was epic trolling with PTIians and Pakistanis. Kala Topi.

A good reality based comedy show. And the show has outlived its life in the shape of IK for repeat telecast. What a waste of money, predominantly from the ppl of Punjab, Islamabad/Rawalpindi and KPK(who left PTI in the end altogether).

PTI show of strength, a few days ago: :enjoy:

Come on you know it, with all the time waste for months on television, social media and discussion forums, what Imran Khan and PTI, gave the people of Pakistan. I know you are disappointed that nothing good came out for Imran Khan and PTI selffish politics, infact the only partner Qadri in the shape of PAT had, also left you high and dry. Its a shame. PTI should stick to KPK and improve it first . Politics is not Imran Khan's game.

Desperate times for desperate Khan and desperately weak PTI.

If i were disappointed as you are saying i would've posted my thoughts here..i don't care if others agree or not i say what i want. You are only painting a picture for yourself to see only ;)

These kinds of justifications always fail. Zia was never a PM. He was a dictator by coup, and then an illegal "President". The Constitution does allow for lawful solutions, but only if it is respected and followed as the supreme law of the land, and only in a civilized country.

It was Zia who introduced this kind of behavior in Pakistan state institutions..big corruption cases were created in his reign and ofcourse he brought a guy like Nawaz Sharif into the political fold through Corruption itself. Getting rid of corruption, giving justice and accountability is much more important for Pakistan at this time rather than play Law Law.

Do you see the irony in suggesting that justice can be provided by acting illegally?

Well when institutions fail to provide justice, then things which are not exactly inside the law happen in countries such as ours. How can you expect justice when all basic judicial institutions are under the influence of the ruling govt.? Law is made for the people by the people and not the other way around which is People made for the Law. If these things occur then you go out on the street protesting and agitating your way and try to put pressure on the state institutions who were made to give you justice in the first place, to give it you. The system fixing itself is a like a dream of some people here but let me tell you..The system is never gonna fix itself when the same corrupt families rule over a country over and over again. Never ever.

So what is the alternative? Anarchy or Revolution? Do you really think Pakistan can survive either one these days?

Whatever you want to call it, in a democratic way its called street justice. Now thing is Govt. will try to use lethal force, unlawful means to hurt the peaceful protestors and thats where my friend it could lead to anarchy.

Same thing has been happening in Hong Kong but the international media likes to paint a different picture when it comes to Pakistan where popular opinion doesn't matter much in their eyes. Fact is throughout this protest the govt. has always started taking unlawful steps to stop the protest which in-return turns the protestors violent somewhat. It was unlawful for them to arrest people when they applied section 144 and the Islamabad supreme court under public pressure declared it illegal and rightly so.

If the ruling govt. wouldn't be taking unlawful steps then why would the protesting parties take them? So, the blame mostly goes to the govt.

Sure, let each side blame the other as the country goes down the toilet. That will serve no one.

Lol its been in the Toilet for many years since... where have you been!? every new govt. has been worse than the previous one and so this will continue until this retarded system is reformed one way or the other. Being slaves of a few families does horrible things to you :) Mind you in a super power like the US needed a revolution to correct itself and it wasn't exactly constitutional or lawful However people need to be sincere whoever brings a change and in IK we cannot have a more sincere leader. He might not be the best but he likes institutions to be independent thats what i like the most about him and he believes in justice and accountability first and foremost.
