He opened the lockdown so that people can get out with care and things don't turn bad but you idi ots went out for shooping and got consumed by conspiracy theories....
And now you people are blaming the government for your dumbness....
The whole world is following the concept of smart lockdown, not curfew but here people deserve curfew and "laathi charge"...

I think it was Government's responsibility also to make sure the SOPs are enforced and followed. Which country lets its people do whatever they want? Why have police at all if you're not going to enforce law?
To be fair to him , many politicians across the world had not taken it seriously...even in India some Chief Ministers advised people to not get panicked as it goes away by just taking a paracetamo( thats true too to a large extent for many people)...if you listen to his first speech carefully he said something like 70 percent ( i am not good with hindi numbers)of the people recover without treatment...thts true.
Majority of the people who are dying are old people with comorbidities.
Of course he should have stick with his first version...in the second speech it seems he took a U turn.
Lockdowns dont work in poor countries like india and pakistan...thats an absurd idea...we have to be careful ourselves.
Unfortunately for pakistan , people are susceptible to believe in conspiracy theories...many people take religious scholars words very seriously....and some of these scholars arent helping the cause with their ignorance.
If numbers increase exponentially, there will be no peak if SOPs are not followed... hospitals will reach capacity and have to reject others, this will increase death rate in young too.
Do we want to reach the point where we have to decide who is eligible for a vent and who isnt? And by what criteria? Money? Age? Status?
People here on PDF saying that Government handled it well, but they didn't at all. Awareness programs were very weak, curfews were ill managed, and there was no enforcement of SOPs. Meanwhile, hundreds of youtube channels by know-it-all idiots followed by millions of Pakistanis are spreading stupidity that it's (a) a conspiracy, (b) nothing to worry about at all, (c) Pakistanis have a unique immune system that can take of coronavirus. But Government is not taking action against them.
Ofcourse this will happen then...
Edit: I personally feel their tracing strategy wasn't the best either. The daily cases were fluctuating a lot. One day 700, the other day 350, then 1000, and so on. So God knows how many actual cases there actually are.
