China should attack India tomorrow. The Indians will lay out picnic blankets for the Chinese.
We always have Indonesia for the reserve of the "I" in the BRICS.
The backbone of the BRICS will always be Russia and China, so we are not really afraid of India's true allegiance, and India is free to switch to the western camp if it wants.
I think a China-India conflict is the least likely spark for WWIII out of all possible sparks , so I found this article fairly preposterous. But I one thing I found interesting is that the author, a Russian, expects India to defect from the Sino-Russian partnership and join the Western alliance. Evidently, he doesn't think of India as a dependable or trustworthy ally. I wonder how common his viewpoint is among Russian intellectuals?

So what you think where will be India according to GDP if it grow with average 7-8 percent for next 20 years? (And you know India have that ability).Difference is that China has grown 10% a year average sustained for last 3 decades.
India is growing less than 5% a year now and has only managed between 6-7% a year average for last 3 decades.

We hope that India could stay with us, but if not, we can still have Indonesia as the backup.
Really india was going 7-8% in ,2009,2010,2011 respectively untill global crisis and now it's improved to 5.9% This year and 6.5-7% next FY as predicted by world bank. New GOI will planning Many Tax reforms like GST &In FDI next year so growth rate is going up for 1-2% up. So india is heading towards major power by 2020 all predicted it will be 3 largest by nominal income in gdp.Difference is that China has grown 10% a year average sustained for last 3 decades.
