If your relatives are determined to kill your dear ones for property

What is the use of land if one is no more?

Move on and create a life where, there are no so called relatives, which eyeing your property.

if you are already middle age/ old and a piss poor plebb and have not much to lose, then fight for yourself even at the risk of death.

If you are young and rich with a wife and kids, then sell the land to someone and get out of there. Make sure that your relatives dont even get a hint that you are selling the land, sell it for 10% cheaper than market rate if you must to get rid of it asap. If possible, sell it to someone your relatives hate, as a final sucker punch, or if you are really rich and want to make a middle finger statement, just donate the land for free as a message to your bad relatives that you would rather shit out the money than give it to them.

Police won't give you protection if you can't/don't pay enough bribes. Police are corrupt and crime control is the last thing on their mind.

Probably the answer to above question is: Might is Right. Probably in such situations, the stronger party (rich and powerful) wins and the weaker party can do nothing about it.

Moreover their (those relatives) following characteristic make them much much much more dangerous. Due to decades of their apparently good behaviour, they never showed any sign of their criminal tendencies until below events. Hence you didn't expect any danger from them. So no question of even slightest of precaution. Then suddenly after so many years (after some decades) they began to show their real nature - encroached on your property, spread false canards about you or your dear ones by telling a lot of lies to society, their servants scuffled with your supporter (the supporter on your side was just a well-wisher because since you are not rich or powerful, unlike your relatives you can't afford a servant), made intimidating threats, etc. Worse, there are compelling reasons to believe that, in connection with the property issue, they had already murdered, without 'intimation', a couple of other unsuspecting relatives quietly and the murders were passed off as natural deaths. It was the effect of their quality of not showing their real nature.

It's not a difficult problem since you have already identified the person(s) who wants to kill you. File an FIR saying he threatened to kill you, and acquire a firearms license to protect yourself.
This is the problem with online discussion forum. Some people read hurriedly. Actually they don't even read hurriedly but just skim hurriedly, thus missing some vital points made.

I did read your post in its entirety. Also your assessment of the situation is correct - might is right. My family back in BD owns a big real estate/construction company, and I have seen my father and uncles deal with real estate issues, criminals, politicians all their life. I know first hand police in South Asia don't exactly have crime control in mind. Unfortunately my two posts in page 1 is the best advice I can offer without a much more deeper understanding of the problem.

Life is more important than a piece of property. I am not saying to give up, but to fight for your right and involve as many elders who will officiate your grievances. Police complaint and report of filing is important in worst case scenario.

Get a will stating that in case of accidental death or murder or suicide, your assets will go to any non profit organization.
And adding to that, send a notarized copy of that will to your family and friends.
TWO POINTS:

1. There is another aspect. Even though children are okay with not getting that property, their father would be upset because the father thinks it's his duty to hand down the share that his children are legitimately entitled too. The activities of relatives made father unhappy and the children don't want to see him so.

Of course, the father's youth is over and he doesn't want the property for himself but for his children. Children aren't interested, especially in light of such dangerous difficulties, but are forced to pursue the property for the sake of father's satisfaction. Children are doing it halfheartedly.

2. Actually a court case is going on about that property and you don't know the kind of lawyer we got. Read and tell if you find it strange.

We reside in our own house in place 'A' and that property is in place 'B'. The ownership of the house (place 'A') in which we reside is clear and it's ownership is established because father built it himself. The court case is regarding place 'B'. The lawyer suggested, "It is inconvenient to travel from place 'A' to place 'B' for court hearings. How about including the house also in the case, so that the property case can come under jurisdiction of place 'A'?" I was furious with the lawyer for making such suggestion.

Regarding the charity, the relatives may argue that in the event of death, no amount of property can go to charity. If it had been as simple as @Skull and Bones suggested, in history no murder would have ever occurred over property.

Spend some money, get a tough, aggressive lawyer. There are many. Obtain a cease and desist order from the court. Don't be a pushover. Which part of the country is this?

He needs an honest lawyer. 99.9% lawyers dealing with property issues are scums.

There are stories of British Pakistanis who went back to Pakistan to resolve disputes relating to land and property met their brutal fate by being shot dead.
