What's new

If not Imran Khan then who?

Its high time we should all realize that because the Govt doesnt hold the majority

That is where I am highly suspicious of our "establishment" (with heavy heart).

IK was given "35 punctures" in the elections before the last one on behest we all know who, just to give that traitor Nawaz the two third majority.

Even throughout Nawaz political career, he was "facilitated" with absolute majority in the parliament.

In last election, it seems IK was meticulously given paper thin majority to just about form the government, where he can be controlled, blackmailed and finally shown as a failure.

So whoever has been sitting in dark room, smoking some shite, planning some schemes, must understand this, that there is no one out there in million miles, both in civil and more importantly, in military, who can replace IK. Pakistan need his services specially on global arena. So protect, facilitate him and help him to become Erdogan of Pakistan.

Thank you for saying the obvious.

The kind of Govt IK possesses is like having somebody tie both hands and push him in the ocean to swing.

As you mentioned, Khan's Govt has razor thin majority, he has been blackmailed day in day out since the get-go not from his allies but from within the party, because everybody knows that he needs them. Therefore, he ends up giving ministries to many he didnt want do, however, its a rocket science for many to comprehend.

More to the point, blaming Govt for many issues, including dysfunctional accountability process is not fair at all. Onus is on filth judicial system, who is aiding all the Thugs of Pakistan in every possible way. I am waiting for that day when kulbhushan will file his review petition in any of LHC, IHC, SHC or PHC and will get relieve. Pakistani judiciary is mother of all evils (but funny part is people here dont raise their voice against it), which Khan can't straight up, cant do reforms again because he doesnt hold the majority.

I concur with you, establishment needs to work with Khan, the way they have worked wholeheartedly with traitor like Nawaz, because Khan Govt has successful diplomatic policy and have raised the voice for Kashmiri's which Nawaz, Zardari and Fazlu fraudiye couldn't do in last 3 decades. Pakistani establishment needs to realize it and support Khan.

I hope he can find better ministers for the cabinet come next election.

I am telling numerous times here. Pmln is the party that makes establishment happy. Pmln members approx 90 percent are mostly from Punjab. Military bearucracy judiciary are all majority from Punjab. So this party is a blueyed party. Their love affair will never end. The political system we have here in this country will never allow a pukhtun or a baloch or a urban sindhi to lead a national political party. And military enjoys this because they can Blackmail these parties because of the flaw in the system and hence status quo will remain. 18th amendment was passed with the approval of establishment and military. Karachi will most suffer from that amendment because ppp and rural sindh will never give them rights and Pmln and Punjabis give a heck to Karachi so they don't care. With great power comes great responsibility and Punjab is not ready for this. Punjab and Pmln had a chance but they failed in all. Why Pmln failed becuae this party always got 2/3rd majority in parliament but they only care for Punjab as famous dialogue of shahbaz to taliban about not to target Punjab. Ppp lost everything they don't have legacy leader courage brain people and knowledge and will. Pakistan is becoming a lost cause. Our enemy might decide the future of Pakistan. I hope endia will not be the one at least.

What we really need is a new politcal party to provide effective opposition to PTI. The thing is where would they stand ideologically?

I think and strongly believe the way is always there, We as a Pakistani have lost our purpose and the will to do, and looking for others to do it for us. every one of us has to fulfill our duties perfectly, honestly and should be ready to lose everything but not lose integrity.
we have failed to set our goals in life. if these goals are there but we have become totally indifferent to these. Lack of commitment and running away working hard results in failure and frustration.
I know every project needs Planning so there should be planning to secure our goal financial and political independence at all costs.
this planning should be done not by others but everyone and at every stage and every sphere of life.
so once this planning is done next stage comes layout, the structure defining of milestones at each stage, I mean to say that you can judge of right or wrong direction of the struggle without these small step stones, telling us whether we are in the right direction or the opposite.
once you reach one of these milestones, these tell you that you are on the right way, how much long journey you have traveled, reaching these milestones are opportunities of the celebration of our struggle,
The progress in the journey may not be possible without review. there should be a ruthless review at every stage, this review is the most essential part to find our mistakes in our struggle.
Making mistakes is an inevitable part of human life, no one can succeed in life without making these, so there should be no shame in admitting these mistakes and blunders, actually, these are mistakes that give you experience and expertise in every field of life.
Admitting mistake leads way to the correction of these, so this correction of mistakes and errors become the basis of a new strategical line of action to achieve our dream goal, A true economical independence.
For reaching some respectable position what we need to do is to make consistent efforts. No one achieves success without hard work.
once you succeed in reaching your well-desired destination, the struggle does not come to an end, because we as a human always finds new ways and means to make new mistakes and well-thought-out errors, there should be a watchdog type of body to keep on watching on this strive for our mission.
An organized and well-planned hardworking can bring about the change we all are waiting for and for that we all have to do our part with full devotion and dedication. we set a very high standard in our words, while our actions speak of an other story.
there should be no place for double standards in our life, we should have the courage to say and do what we believe is right.
IMO we have to make such a pattern for every field where we aim at achieving something worthwhile.
Taking into consideration our present political scenario and gloomy economical and financial state of affair, first need a comprehensive dialog between each and every institution of our country, so that we may find the mistakes we have made, and a wayout to overcome these and define a line of action to get a stable Pakistan from every point of view, politically economically militarily.
There is no harm in getting collective wisdom of all parties political parties, bushmen traders, and industrialists military, media, religious scholars, our intelligentsia, friends of Pakistan, and even the enemy of Pakistan.
open discussion brings in all points of view. there should not hindrance upon the opposing side of the people.
Once all parties are on board, they can not oppose the planned line of action to achieve the desired goal.
the policy made by one man may right, but a nation only supports the policy which it think is made by collectively.
all the members have equal rights to write their line of action. messy problems require collective collaborative efforts

yes pti has turn kpk into dubai and silicon valley during their tenure but it is only visible to their supporters and not to rest of world
Oh I like it how you change your stance to further embarrass yourself.

First it was "All project were under CPEC" to now "They carried out a few projects"...

The list I shared is not even 10% of the work they have done in KPK.

From my perspective, Pakistan's leadership is flawed from the beginning, because the political leadership of India's Muslims was with the Ulama and the Mashayikh prior to Pakistan's creation. The leadership should return to them. Of course, I'm not talking about sell-out politicians like Fazlur Rahman, Tahir Ashrafi, Jamaate Islami, and the like. I'm referring to the very hardline and conservative Sunni Ulama and Mashayikh who never compromise Islamic principles. The day clean-shave munafiqs are ousted from power is the day of Pakistan's true salvation, the day we see the leaders of Pakistan wearing turbans and skullcaps, seated on the floor and not sitting in chairs and driving around in limos (corrupt VIP culture). Why have we restricted the Ulama and Mystics to the pulpit and mosque, while our people keep voting for industrialists, feudalists, aristocratic landlords, military officers, and athletic playboys to run the government? Why are our courts full of British law educated lawyers and judges wearing black European suits even in the extremely hot Pakistani summer, when before colonialism the judicial authority of the Muslim community was with the Ulama and the Qadis?
Until this fundamental transformation occurs, I sadly don't see much of a future for Pakistan.

you are claiming that he has turned kpk to heaven and carried out massive development so you should provide evidence in form of improvement of standard of life and earning of common citizens of kpk as compared to rest of Pakistan which is not visible to me as still many people from kpk come to Islamabad and punjab for education and jobs and desire to buy property in Islamabad

Are you in your mind? Show me where have I said that

he has turned kpk to heaven

Dont try to be cute and put your words in my mouth and try to turn and twist the discussion unnecessarily only because you cant prove anything.

I have shared a glimpse of the projects have been done in KPK in past 6/7 years in healthcare, education, energy and infrastructure sectors. For instance here is what people think about Health card program.

Show me what previous Govt of KPK has done and then this conversation will go forwards, or else dont waste my time.

The best testament to PTI's performance in KPK is them going from a thin majority to 2/3rd majority in 2018. Must have done something right for people to vote for them in such large numbers.
