While North Vietnam eventually overrun South Vietnam, they did not beat the US Army.
Dien Bin Phu rev 2 (aka Khe Sahn) was a military disaster for North Vietnam, as the whole Tet Offensive.
Politically it was more successful.
Serbs defeated, Iraq beaten twice. Afghanistan overrun.

Funny you ignore the fact the Thai pilot frankly admit China send obsolete J-11A with analog control that shall not be surprised at losing to Thai Gripen. But fact is , most of our air fleet is equipped with modern J-10A and J-11B, J-16 with digital control. I am sure Thai pilot has reveal all secret and give Chinese all the goodies of their gripen given the close r/s between China and Thai while you western has zero idea of the real good Chinese fighter jet.
