Yeah, your story is totally believable. That's different thing that you don't know that Mirpur is not "some palce", it's one of largest and famous city of Azad Kashmir.
now that you mention kashmir, a google search does confirm i stayed there.
and im supposed to know that its famous. it was nice place granted.

btw you reek of sarcasm.

Sure, come over, unless you're stereotypicall Mallu, people will hardly know you're Indian anyway.

Then again, Mumbaiites did recognise us about 7 years ago when we went to India in November, but thank God Pakistan government saved us with reinforcements that day

I thought you are a south Indian

He is but but so eager. This fool has deluded so much that he has traded his own dad for a Sindhi or Punjabi so that he can be a "scion of the Indus". So go along with his pipedream. He needs to imagine Harappa as his ancestors instead of some place thousand plus miles away in Tamil Nadu.

And I am off to visit Rome. I am going to try to imagine my ancestors sat their at the podium and watched gladiators fight each other to death.

You want to say it is North-Indic ?

I knew IVC is NW Indian culture. Majority which are in Pakistan and some in NW India. Different from North Indic Ganga culture. But its fascinating he is saying that is his ancestral place. But south India has culture older than IVC.

He is yet another adolescent trying to find his way, discover who he is and an irritating idiot, if I may add. Let him be....

25k Indian Rupee is good enough. That is like 40,000 Pakistani Rupees.

Which is not enough to even stay in Lahore for a week (even if you are tavelling from Delhi).

they guy is from south India, state called Andhra Pradesh, a place known for producing really stupid people.(By stupid I did not mean academically poor, rather they are not really streetsmart, will be like fish out of water in North India).
I will add 25% overhead to total cost for being stupid and not knowing language. Remember, all of his travel till now is within familier south India, that too probably in group, not solo traveller.
If he was from delhi, mumbai or even old city hyderabad, he would stand better chance.

We dont want edhi saab being burdened again, do we. :p:

Foreigners (including Indians) aren't ripped off in Pak .. Infact ppl tend to go out of their to help them.. Offering free food, rides etc.. Pak is known for hospitality for a reason.

I understand security conditions in past few years may not be conducive but is there back-packing culture in Pakistan? Not referring to the foreigners alone but even locals?

If yes, How expensive is stay of couple of months in Pakistan is - considering strictly budget backpackers who wouldn't mind spending the night under the stars or in their car when needed.
