Well I was mesmerized by the magic show of the disappearing weapons of mass destruction that the USG was giving to the world!

Present it to an open session in congress...

My contention is, he'd present something when he has any proof. Already Pentagon has said he was overstating the facts.

Proof needs to be presented to a body who needs to take a decision based on his statements or to a body who he is asking to believe him. He has deposed before the senate and its up to them to demand proof or take the assessment of their military leader on face value.. In case Pakistan has an issue with him making allegedly false statements, sue him for slander.. Then he can produce the proof in court.. He is not posting this on PDF that he is required to present proof to its members and mods

Why not to the UN ?? UN security council. Present the proof, have deliberations about its authenticity, if possible make a commission which probes the intel and allegations and when found to be true, UN should sanction armed action against by America to be legitimate and even involve in NATO just like for Libya and make Pakistan do the things which they want.

Only if it falls in line with their objectives/plans etc etc.. A military leader of US making a statement to US Senate is not bound to justify his comments to anyone unless asked by that senate or congress.. Isnt it?

Apa, the thing is people have spoken, the media spoke & very loud and clearly. I.K rallied support in gujranwala. Rememebr the last thing they want is people out on teh street en'mass..........

And what does that count for?

For 10 years we have been whipping boys with countless unanswered slanders directed at us.

We have already been prosecuted in the court of world opinion (china can't do jack about that for us!!!) and if you have any brain cells you would know that with American foreign policy perception is more important than reality, well guess what, after 10 years of staying quiet, and letting the americans walk over us they have created the reality they wanted, and we face a near impossible task to change this!!

There are no friends in international politics, & Mr Mullen knows that all the well. I almost feel sorry for him though, he seems like he is genuinely hurt. That's the harsh reality of international politics.

Pakistan is as an-all-weather friend with China (& vice versa) as they can be, but of course, everyone looks after their strategic & national interests before friendship.

China's geopolitical strategic interests align with Pakistan's, so that's not an issue. The Pakistan Administration is always mindful that they have to learn to be self-sufficient & self-reliant, rather than demanding a blank check from China. Pakistan & China are two independent, sovereign countries.
