Why does India feel it has a right to hide its shameful record regarding discrimination against blacks, when the white parts of the world are being forced to confront it?

Can someone explain to me why political correctness regularly benefits a nation that: (a) supports an institutionalised racist system in the form of societal caste hierarchy (I've read reports just today of Dalits being murdered for eloping with a higher caste female and another one for praying in the wrong temple - that's just today)? (b) has a movie and pop culture that is inherently colourist and has its celebrities frequently endorsing skin whitening products? (c) reveres a man as father of the nation who regarded blacks as an inferior race?

Why do these brown people get to hide behind a firewall and endorse racism in all its ugliness just because they play some "we wuz victimz though" card?
