Hello all, I'm thinking of buying a kitten for mysister/Myself(we live in same house-Joint Family sh*t). Can anyone suggest a breed/type that I should look ? (non furry Please! )Sorry if this sounds weird or if I offend anyone. I've been thinking about owning one for the past month now and now I'm ready to take the next step. I live in a Tower - so i'd prefer something that won't get too big. Thanks everyone

What important things should I know about cats?
Do kittens chew electrical cords, curtians, shoes, etc. like puppies do?
Do you have to train them to use the litter box?
Will they get into trouble if allowed to freely roam the house?

I don't know much about the breeds but in Pakistan we have a domestic breed which suits all what u r asking

Google it out like never feed them chocolate or milk if some kind of hair doped on it etc

No they don't

Do you have to train them to use the litter box?

Off course or if you got one which is already trained

Will they get into trouble if allowed to freely roam the house?

Not usually but if the one you got is seems curious then you may keep tracking it but still it's not as demanding as a dog.

Cat dont chew anything, half the time they spend sleeping and other half doing their cleaning, manicure and pedicure. just remember onething before you buy a cat...are you willing to have cat hair on all your clothings if you can handle that then go ahead buy a cat they are the cutest pet one can have. when you get a pet its a big responsibility to take care of them and they fall in love with you and you cant just toss them around. my cat is so used to me when I went to Pakistan for two weeks they just sat in a corner for entire two week (i guess she was mourning my death) and when I came back she wouldnt let me out of her sight for a whole week.

you dont have to do much to train them for litter box, just show her once where it is and she will find it when she needs to go, they just dont go anywhere where they cant dig and cover it.
