The speed of electrons in wire is almost equal to the speed of light. It’s lower however at such low distance we talk about 2nm the difference is negligible. And the physics as we know it: there is nothing faster than speed of light. will Huawei invent something that can be faster than speed of light?

Higher frequency, higher bandwidth transmit more information, that is not new.
photonics can achieve faster frequencies for specific applications because they're not frequency limited by capacitive noise, are immune to EMI, can run without high heat dissipation and have high frequency multiplexing capabilities.
