It's perception. Most of us grew up poor and saw the West as developed, China only became better 2000s onwards, today's China is better and cleaner but perception takes time to tune. Same like Chinese brands, you can make the best Chinese car, but it takes time for brand recognition. Most Chinese elites are coming home after knowing the West will never accept a Chinese superpower as equal.

Well truthfully China until today is only 60% developed, I am talking about my Sg standard, not murican, US is worse than sg in terms if infra Cleanliness, packaging, aethestic and governance. I want China to reach Sg levels, will take another 25 years. When I say 25 years, I meant the whole China.

Well I personally think we are no diff from Sg in terms of governance just need to be more exposed to international standards learn more English to bullshit and refute, packaging and marketing, we have the ame Confucian meritocratic system. It will take longer for China due to size and cultural baggage.
